The words are actually extracts from a letter found in Patrick Pearse's cell before he was executed....and as for "Alanna Rose's comment in relation to your wonderful information - why was she listening to this wonderful song in the first place!!! If that great man had had her little brain we would still have the Union Jack flying over the GPO!!!
