T1 needs a good coach that ACTUALLY helps with PB. So far all im seeing from them is that they're playing like they're "flying blind". This meta isnt even bad for them at all as most of the picks T1 are getting are still what they are usually good at. Faker's Azir, Zeus with Gnar and Keria with any engaging supps. The problems lies with their PB phase and macros, which can be significantly mitigated if they have a good coach. Look what happened when Faker went down and they couldn't win a single game. Bear in mind that they still has 4 players that made the first team last split and now they can't even perform despite when they were only just down 1 player? All these implies a very serious problem within their team. I'm speculating but its very likely the players themselves are the problem here.

So what's the analysis here? I don't think 3-0 is the real difference between the 2 teams. But this isn't normal, too many finals in a row T1 has been choking. The problem is that at least in my vision this is the perfect team for T1, yet they don't get the expected results. But obviously the players are part of the problem, not only the different coaches they've had. I guess after worlds it wouldn't be insane to think the roster should change a bit.

GENG has everyone alive, their going to push all the waves now and deny a bunch of recources, their going to get really good base timings for all of them, they have both side lanes now pushing towards SKT meaning a push down mid with baron buff is impossible, they got absolutely nothing from this baron AND they are now speeding up the waves coming into GENG that they can't even protect, meaning a free slow push back situation in any lane that GENG wants to focus next Somehow I think Summer winners have a better understanding of baron timings and don't just randomly go to baron cause of a meme disease, cause last I checked they went on to win this game.

sure but part of it is also that a final should be the highest stake game that teams prepare for - T1 never aimed for that final at all and literally said after the KT series that they were done, mission accomplished, back at worlds..after coming down from that elation, they were then given one night sleep and no prep before going up against the best team in the league and looked super deflated all around - no excuses but what can u expect? they legit had no prep and on top didn't care, if they had managed to win a game maybe they would have started to get into it a bit but this way they looked like they just wanted to not be there at all
