Dcool I agree crank sensor could be a problem. Data loggers are good and everything but what surprises me is nobody ever seems to use a scope on their cars. If they hooked a scope up to the crank sensor (and cam sensor) and put it on record they'd be able to see that kind of issue easily after a run. Q: Does the Holley ECU provide regular scan tool-like output? Because a regular scan tool (on a normal car) would throw a code for a crank sensor problem. Just wondering.

They been changing plugs left and right, bet you one of the coils got dropped and now at full WOT heavy load it's not firing as fast as it should. So I'm guessing a defected coil pack, it happen to me before and it's not a common problem it one of those weirdest things.

He holds the brake to control his launch so he doesn't spin. There's enough force from the tires to release the brakes once he fully let's go. That little bit of movement you see after he shifts is just slack in the line. Watch any other driver who has the same handbrake and you'll see they all do the same thing

Detonation can cause misfires on one cylinder, one piston could have a hotspot. Otherwise electrical like grounding block to chassis , cam/crank position sensor , reluctor wheel , spark jumping to nearby metal like exhaust , pinched or kinked wire to coil or injector

You are supposed to clean spark plug boots and wires with WD-40 James, brake kleen leaves behind a residue that makes the spark jump,Lay out the wire to its full length and spray some WD-40 on a rag wiping clean the wire from one end to the other and especially concentrating at the boot. Inspect for cracks and damage then reinstall.

If your problem persist try switching the coil on the problem cylinder with one of the other cylinders (preferably one from the other side of the engine). If the bad cylinder moves, you'll have your problem. If it doesn't, switch wires doing the same procedure. It's the old school way of tracking down a problem.

My guess for spark issue is , too much timing when cylinder temps get high under high boost on big end.. all it needs is an small spec of carbon on piston that heats up to cause knock and you dont see that in exhaust temps.. or could be coil going bad / bad grounding .. just check simple things one by one.. and do elimination of finger problems as well..
