Timothy Dam yeah but much rather see him get sponsored to do pro drift since his skills are undeniable. Taylor has without a doubt proven himself to be worthy. No doubt would hold his own against James deane, Aasbo or Gittin, without any disrespect to their skills. Taylor just doesn’t have the sponsorships or promotion, funding to fulfill his full potential, which is clearly evident.

So many people hating on LZ in the comments and going on about how much better taylor is and they are happy he out qualified adam. Let's just look at this quickly they both qualified in the top 10 and the points spread was probably less that 2 or 3 points between there runs. Second adam is in the s13 that he has not driven in forever whereas taylor is in the only car he drives in events. Finally they are boys and your comments hating on one or the other is not going to mean shit to either of them. Taylor was the one that invited adam out so just be happy they going to be slaying together.

You should really understand how power to weight works. What good is 700hp in a miata when he'll never be able to put it to the ground. Even mad mike had to change the engine combo in his mx5 because he said all that hp was too much for the chassis and useless. There's a reason why you don't see almost any high hp miatas drifting...

Clutchkick is right, and so much more goes into it, gear ratio, wheel speed, but 450/450 would probably be just about perfect with a 408.

@@clutchkickpj693 lol Mad Mike always complained that MX5 didn't make enough torque. It's about power vs grip. Daigo's Vette is lighter than Taylor's Miata and makes something like 800hp but it has the grip to put it to work.

@@fuzzylogic394 once you start cutting the rear up like other pro cars there should be room for bigger tires but then you have to deal with the Miata's short 89" wheelbase. Even the current MX5 only has a ~90" wheelbase which is the real reason they're not competitive in pro.

I think the camera mounted to the roll cage is better than the helmet cam. I feel like i get a better feel of sliding and your inputs while following the angle of the car. Maybe that doesnt make any sense but i liked the camera placement this video

Sounds just like my shifter in my GTO. The LS puts out a lot of vibration so it just rattles everything especially if you have poly mounts for the engine.

@@jordanbishop8471 people bash on him a bit cuz once you get big you get haters. adam im sure is amazing but truly due to his following he has a large financial backing and then an "easier" path to get up in the industry. taylor and adam live in orlando and are friends. but you see 2 stark different perspectives. taylor is doing a large part of the work to his cars when adam has his own mechanic and tons of sponsors throwing themselves at him so they can come up. taylor is on the ground level w/ these "basic" cars doing his thing - adam has like what 10 cars. adam pushed on his own 2019 year of the flex, even if he didnt start it he rode that wave his fans pushed. taylor is here grinding day after day. also it seems as if taylor is just naturally talented at racing and the mechanical work at the same time. its fun to create a narrative of one vs the other due to some people really not about the flex life. some people would rather connect to someone like taylor. i think between the 2 they are prolly mad cool for a long time. i think many people wanna see someone like taylor come up and get that youtube following and sponsorships adam has. i personally stopped watching adams videos cuz its just not my style but i found taylor from adam. i live in orlando and just connect to taylors way of life more. sorry so many words

You need the softer steer tyres And start with about 24 in th rears. I can feel the tyres rolling on the rims and tearing off chunks. Most semi slicks and performance road tyres should come up to about 30 lbs.
