Hey taylor two things that may help you is you can use the hole saw in your "drill press" without a pilot bit, And you should get some cold roll flat bar to use, not only does it not have mill scale but its quite a bit stronger

Drop the seat a bit if you can, to make some more headroom. Like CJ did in Eagle for Cletus.

Watching you drill the holes in those plates made me slap my forehead, have you heard of things called parrellels, it just two plates of metal stood up at each face of the vice, allowing you to drill through your work piece without fear of drilling into the vice.

If you fill your pipe with sand before you bend it it's less likely to kink.

Hey Taylor! Take the pilot bit out of the hole saw and chuck that sucker up in the drill press! Same size gets cut out but you don’t have to weld the pilot hole.

Excelent work fitting the cage around the seat and head. You might want to drop the seat and do a small hoop under the seat in front and behind the seat. This is what Cleetus did in his Eagle build. Extra room over the head is really helpful. especially if you ever crash and need the room if you slide on the roof.

Brother i believe you're being a tad bit to sentimental with every little piece you fabricate with the boy's. I get that everyone was excited but those bends are going to come back to haunt you later at the end of the day its a race car and safety should come before feelings its better to scrape them and start over or put gussets to keep them from further failing (their already past compromised imo but a gusset is better than nothing) those will bend or crack in the first few outings with the car
