LS Swap E85 Fuel System Install- Pete's Draggin' Wagon P 13

In this video I install a 450LPH fuel pump into the stock E39 fuel tank. I also install a Deatschwerks fuel pressure regulator and their 65lb injectors, and a flex fuel sensor to run E85. I ran -8 AN supply and -6 AN return.

Love the video Pete! I'm in the process of building my 5.3 turbo swapped e39 sedan and this video is exactly what I needed to get my fuel system finished. I didn't know how the stock system was routed after it got to the 90 degree bend near the fuel tank but after watching this video its clear as glass!

Thank you. The fuel system was a major hurdle that I was pretty unsure how to pull off. I was worried about the siphon system for the saddle tanks because the return fuel goes into the opposing side as the pump. But there is a tube inside the tank that goes from the left to right side that is connected to the return line. I haven’t had any problems yet with this setup.

@@PetesGarageandperformance hey pete what did you do with the evap line coming off the fuel tank? Did you cap it off or did you vent it somewhere else?

I just left it open where the lines go up between the body and tank.

How much hose (length wise) did you end up getting for the fuel system ? And also the vacuum you have on the FPR where are you getting that vacuum from?

I think I ended up using 20’ of -8 for the supply and 10’ of -6 for the return. I teed into the vacuum line that goes to the supercharger bypass valve.

And for the bulk head you said -6 to 3/8 but the fitting is -8 so is it the -8 to 3/8 or did you use like -6 fitting with -8 By the way thank you so much for replying im currently trying to do the same swap you been making it easy for me with your videos so I appreciate you taking the time helping me out

@@TheKJD14 I’m pretty sure it’s a 3/8” barbed fitting on one side of the bulkhead fitting and male -8 on the other. I think I got it from Deatschwerks. I’m glad my videos are helping you out. Thank you for watching.
