I thought the slip fit would have been mounted on the tip seeing the exhaust is meant to flow “into” the slip instead of the way you guys mounted it, it flows out. Right? Won’t the exhaust always find that crack when it’s flowing through the pipe. Just my thought. Sick work either way.

I have the same Horrible Freight pipe expander(s). Agree, they are a complete waste of money unless you are trying to expand tin foil...

Harbor Freight makes some good tools that will save you some bucks in a pinch, but the pipe expander is definitely not one of them!

It really all depends on the condition of the truck when it rolls in here. If you look back on episode 2,3,&4 there was a whole ton of rust repair that needed to be done before a lot of the real fabrication could start. If you want us to quote you for a project, hit us up on IG!
