Hey bro, awesome videos. They help me out a lot. I have one question for you. How come you use a separate transmission cooler instead of the one that is integrated into the new radiator?

I appreciate it brotha I like to run them with external coolers if the motor ever overheats and the cooler is ran on the radiator the trans can burn up pretty quick

it's not a "power steering delete" it's removing the power steering..

The 87 tank come with baffles inside the old tank will also work but the pump could starve for fuel when it’s low on turns

Sending unit can be ordered almost anywhere online or local parts store just lookup under 87 r10

I have a question. I have a 86 K10 and the engine I got for it is the 5.3L out of a 2001GMC Sierra. Would this setup you are doing work for the K10 LS Swap?

Yes same setup will work trans will be different but pretty similar

What about smog here in California? You need all the smog equipment from donor. Or are you only swapping 75 and older?

6l80e not 100% sure on a c10 but we can confirm that a 6l80e fits in a squarebody crew cab with about 3/4 inch clearance from the top of the trans to trans tunnel

Appreciate the concise clear info had to sub. To piggyback on this question I have a 350/350 square body so from what I’ve read not the “high hump” th400 cab. Just wanted to confirm an lq4/ 4L80 from a donor will clear? Thanks

Factory ls oil pan will clear if you are using Tejas mounts

The worse thing that u could do is pull the original motor and go with a ls their known for lifter collapsing and labor knocking

An ls is undoubtedly better😐 and If it’s a ls1 ls2 or ls3 it doesn’t shit lifters like the truck motors

That's only the newer ls the old ones with drive by wire take a hell of a lot more abuse than any 350 I've had.
