@@51fifty47 7/8-14 should be the size. Look up -10 AN tap. Depending on your turbo you will need a min of 10 but a 12 is best. Yes I will be at LS Fest West next year. I hope to have a few cars out and the Bego. I have been every year. Stop by and say HI.

No not at all. I think the main thing is to size the drain hose properly and make it a straight a shot as possible. Gravity is your friend remember that when your running your drain line. -Dane

Burndown i was thinking of using my oil pressure switch as a turbo oil drain. Ict billet makes an adapter that bolts right in for turbo oil return. On forums a lot of people say that’s to low, but they make it so I may just give it a try.

​@@yokelguillory6834 Oil Pressure switch? You talking about the oil sensor in the side of a truck pan? If so that wont work. The oil needs to flow back into the pan and if you put it to the sensor hole it will not be able to drain properly. Just punch a hole in the pan above the oil line and tread it like I did and your done. 👍

I believe he's thinking of the oil level sensor in a stock pan. Yokel the swap pans don't have that sensor in them is why he put it there. I'm doing the same thing as we speak.

Thanks for sharing the work, looks good! I know you’ve been asked but what size oil restrictor? There’s 3 different sizes i believe. .060 .030 and the other one. I want to run the dna gt45 As well!

Bowtie Building I’m not running a restrictor on it. Just the proper size drain to the oil pan and it works fine. Never had an issue with oil.

I used aluminum tubing for the feed line and had a hard line for the return as well but recently changed the return to push lock hose and an fittings. If your on my instagram I can shoot you a DM with pics of each if you ned it. 👍 Thanks for watching! -Dane

If you ever get sick of that oil feed setup there is an oil feed galley right on front drivers side of the block that would be any easy shot to your turbo, its right there. you can see it in the first pick of this article. www.superchevy.com/how-to/engines-drivetrain/1512-check-out-this-useful-ls-small-parts-guide/

Thats right to the main oil feed. I bet one could adapt it down and use it. It would shorten the line like you said and you could even tee it off for twins. Wonder if it would affect oil pressure or anything? Have to see if people are using that. I have used this port to prime new motors but not for a turbo feed. Thanks for the heads up ill look into it for sure.

Dane Thompson I’ve been feeding mine off it for years. I should probably put a filter on it though but I haven’t yet. I have great oil pressure.

This was a while back and it was a GT45. A VS Racing 78/75 would be a better bet if you need a chap turbo.
