LS1 V8 Volvo 245L Walk-around - 1977 Volvo 245L with a Chevy LS1

Here's a walk-around of my current daily driver, an LS1 swapped Volvo 245L.
Originally a 1977 Volvo 245L with a B21, the car is now swapped with a 5.7L V8 out of a Holden Statesman found here in Australia. I'll give you some details as to some of the parts I used and even a little Volvo tax avoiding trivia.

I love this car, I had a 1979 242 and a 1979 242GT I bought used in 1987, I still miss them to this day and would certainly buy another one. The hood/grill are the best in all the 240 series cars. Great score and super nice V8 upgrade, especially with the 6 speed. A super car you have their my friend. Man if I could get a right hand drive car, that's over the top, I've never even seen one here in Canada. love to import one of those. Greetings from North Carolina. Great car and color! I have a stock 91 240 sedan, that I recently repainted. I also have a 1982 240 sedan that I plan my first 5.3 LS swap. Did your car come with factory standard transmission? My cars are both auto trans, and would like to have a 6 speed standard, but uncertain how to tackle clutch pedal install.

Thanks! Over in Aus all of our manual cars has hydraulic lines from factory whereas I think a lot of other markets got cables instead. I think the best solution would be to have a look at the STSMachining website as they have a hydro clutch pedal kit, and then get a custom line made down to the clutch. For the master I used a Wilwood 260-1304. 👍 Cheers
