LS2 Subverter Evo Motocross Helmet

The LS2 Subverter Evo helmet uses a proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) material for the shell construction. I’m a novice to buying new gear, this will be my first helmet! I was curious, what am I missing out on if I were to purchase this over something that is a little more on the pricier side? As I said I am new to riding, buying gear etc. Is it as simple as fit and comfortability?

No, it's not that simple. Typically, what you see as you go up in price are more technical helmets with the latest and greatest safety technology. LS2 feels that their shell material is what makes their helmet very safe and other companies, like Bell, 6D, Fly, etc., all use different tech that they feel gives them the safest helmet possible. Venting is also something to keep in mind as well, but with this helmet, that isn't a problem - Chase

Respected sir, This helmet has a lot of vents which cant be turned off. Hence during rainy season, water will go to the liner EPS. Will that water be harmful for the EPS? Thank You!

I had a ls2 helmet and had a pretty good crash. It was a size large, same size as my bell helmet. Just bought another ls2 and received it today. Fits just as good as the previous large. A little snug at first but am sure it will break in just like my others have.

How does this helmet compare to say the KLIM F5 Koyord…I know they are at 2 different price points but is the extra cost worth it in terms of benefits. Out of the 2 which vents better in the slow technical stuff

I haven't ridden in either of these helmets so it can't say which vents better. However, I do know that Koroyd is one of the best venting materials on the market for any helmet. As far as benefits, it's very subjective to the rider. LS2 uses their KPA shell which is softer and flexes more than other helmets which they say will absorb energy better than a rigid carbon fiber shell like the F5. I'd read rider reviews on our site if you haven't already to see what others are saying about it and you can also ask questions on the product page and get answers from customers that have those helmets - Chase

Have a really good question. My wheel bearings on my dirt bike with bad on one side. The other side pretty much blew up shattered into a million pieces so I cannot figure out what size I need but I got it out and it is smaller than the other wheel bearing. The other wheel bearing is a size 630 1-2 RS so which other one do I need to put a wheel bearing on the other side. Would it be a size smaller? Or how would I go about checking this
