For my long term review I have to say that the width is still bothering me. It was squashing the top of my ear which gets sore if I'm out on an all day ride. I actually filed away a little styrofoam on the inside of the helmet to make a little more ear room. Something was still pressing on my jaw and there is a snap in that area that holds up the padding on the chin strap, so I've left that snap undone so there is less thickness pressing into my jaw. I would also add that it is reasonable noise wise when used on a motorcycle with a decent wind screen but my HJC full face helmet is quieter. When I ride bikes without a windscreen I bring the full face helmet.

Love love love this helmet.. love the shape love the looks. Mostly I love the clear plastic shield that comes down with the little vents that keep it fog free and the sun visor easily.comes down ... I can even leave the plastic face shield up and just use the sun visor while riding if I want..

I've had my Verso about a year now and am very pleased with it. It fits really well for the shape of my head, I can wear it all day and I forget it's on. (It's vital that you buy the helmet shape you need to match your head). The sun visor goes over my glasses no problem but it does let air in under the visor - great in hot weather, not so good when it's cold. It needs a sturdy pull to take the main visor out to clean. Everything works as it should. I wear it all the time on my Forza 300, but I will buy another for those warm sunny days on my CB500F.

Do you think that's it's much tighter at the jaw area than other helmets?

I normally wear a half helmet brain bucket... I originally purchased this for just the colder weather..but.. I love it so much I prefer to wear this helmet the majority of the time.. the trick is it's tight when you first get it stuff it really full of pillows and clip the strap.. the foam padding will then get more comfortable... Loved the visor system and the plastic large face shield with the vent at the bottom to keep it from fogging up.... I can also ride with the shield up in the just the visor down

Love this Helmet ❤️... I normally wear a half helmet brain bucket.. I purchased this helmet for colder weather.. but I love this helmet so much I'll probably wind up wearing it the majority of the time.. would you get the new helmet in the correct size it will compress on your cheeks very tightly.. JUST STUFF A PILLOW TIGHTLY INSIDE THE HELMET fasten the chin strap with the pillow inside.. and leave it like that for 2 weeks... The cheek pads will then be comfortable but snug the way they're supposed to be.. I love the clear face shield with the vent system that keeps it from fogging.... I love the retractable sun visor activated by twisting the lever on the side of the helmet.. I sometimes wear the clear shield up with just the sun visor down

Hey Don it's been 2 years since this video how do you still like or dislike that helmet. I just found out about them apparently I'm slow. Popped up in one of my Amazon recommendations. Looks pretty cool as a 3/4 helmet. I typically ride with half in the summertime but was thinking of moving to a 3/4 for added safety. I was hit in the face with many bugs last summer and two hornets were able to get inside my helmet and sting me on both sides of my head in the temples. Was not fun. Hence looking for a face shield with still some open face to it

I'm still using it when it's hot outside, but I've found it bothers me more now as it's not wide enough. I even carved out the styrofoam a bit around the top of my ear. The sun visor doesn't hold it's position as well anymore either and often rests on my nose and I have to keep setting it back in position, so I think I'm going to go with the HJC next time ... especially for those with more round face profiles.

@@DonMPhotography Thanks. I would be a small size and they indicate that it's in intermediate oval which is definitely the shape of my head. I have an HJC modular helmet that has the built-in sun shade I like it. There are times it hits my nose when I don't have the helmet positioned just right. Thanks for the response I appreciate it

Helmet is tight when you first get it. So stuff some pillows inside the helmet and snap closed the fastener and leave it for a couple days.. with the pillows inside what.. once broken in this helmet is so comfortable

I just bought the black one. Good review, I haven't find any in portuguese yet, but you really helped me to choose. Hopefully mine won't bother with the tight widght because I've got a quite big head, lol! Thank you! 🇧🇷

You convinced me. I always ride, each and every day no matter the weather. I have many helmets, each for a special type of riding condition but very cold rainy days like at 3C, I just cant use a fullface they fog up like crazy at stops. For the price, and considering the built quality, I will get one. My old AGV jet will retire.

Thanks for the review. I live in Greece/Athens and in summer in the city the temperature is reaching 40 degrees Celsius easy!! Would you say it has a good air ventilation?

Woah! I try not to get caught out on the bike when the temperature gets above 32 degrees. :-) So I probably shouldn't comment about what it's like at 40c. I don't think it's ever been that warm here in Manitoba. People laugh at us Canadians when we go swimming in Florida and the locals are wearing jackets. :-)

There still isn't much information on that helmet, after reviewing about a dozen helmets I'm on the verge of ordering this one ,what's your opinion after owning this one for a while?

how about the wind noise when your driving around 60-80kph

I have found the noise levels to be quit comfortable but it will depend so much on your own bike and windshield combinations. I think it is similar if not better than the HJC IS-33 if that helps. I still normally use earplugs on longer rides to protect my hearing.
