Shawn Kemp test drive both already? The 05 has several less miles for just a couple grand more but u need to take them both out for a good hour or at least tell the buyer ur 100% serious Nd u just want to take it on the highway and for a good ride. These ls430s ride like a dream. I also have an ls460 and it’s just a pain to get in and out since I have back problems I always prefer my ls430 any day but for business I had to get a newer car.

Cheap fix for a fat dent on one of the fenders, that’s why it’s placed there and not where F badges actually get placed. But honestly I liked it, F sport package cars have sportier suspension and wheels, and so does this. F cars obviously are a different animal vs just F sport.

I couldn't find those ball joints on their site, do you remember the part number? Do you think I should replace tie rods at the same time? I will replace the coilovers. Any other suspension upgrades you recomend while I have the work done? I have a 2001 in killer condition, but the suspension needs work...

Did you put the middle of the car on unprotected jackstands? That makes me really scarred of the car sliding off and after that, rust damage on the point where the jack was. About the ball joints. Did you went for upgraded or some kind of special brand? Maybe I should make a vlog on my LS as well. For now I only did some testing and editing as you can see on my channel. Nice clean LS by the way!

potaijee before I replaced them, my steering and suspension felt somewhat loose or worn out, it didn’t have that tight new car feel. Once I replaced them with aftermarket ones that claimed to be stronger and looked beefier by comparison, the ride almost feels like a tight new car. Although I’m sure if I replaced other bushings in the front suspension it would improve it even more. Hope that helps. If your car is lowered with higher miles, I would say this is a must do. Manny, this is mainly for modified vehicles. But an aged ball joint on a stock LS will eventually fail. I’d say change em out if you’re at high mileage!

geckdad Yes! Just keep up the basics on everything and you’ll be set, these cars last a LONG time, as well as the LS400. Try to get a 04-06 as they have the 6 speed and generally look more appealing.
