This is actually a really good depiction of what a trip looks like. The only part you can't simulate is the way your thinking changes. Sometimes your thoughts are kinda nuts and other times it's just thinking about familiar things in a slightly different way. Also you feel like you've figured out the secrets of the universe only to sober up and be unable to recall what you thought was so profound and life changing. lol

The other thing would be like the way the faces of your close friends look like someone new that you create a new appreciation for. I did a fairly low dose and did not get strong colorful visuals like this, and no auditory hallucinations/noises. But I did notice the 'breathing' and things warping left and right - like a horizontal wavy effect on a photo slowly expanding and pressing inward. Screens are trippy though - my phone looked huge in my hand and app icons were swirling + spaced apart and I wasn't sure what I was even doing with it in my hand (I made a plan to not check messages/social media, just needed it as a clock + music player).

Most accurate video i've ever seen but please guys, do not underestimate the power of it's psychological effects... We came for the visuals but we ride the mind through every emotion, feeling and experience it can possibly go to. There are a billion dimensions to this drug you can't explain in words or video... but this really nails the only aspect of your experience you can share to others.
@rokusansangen14754 жыл бұрын
TRUTH! I watched this video prior to tripping and while it is pretty accurate visually, more than most things you can find out there, especially the last fourth of the video... but it never prepared me for the mind space I was in. Especially my first time. I dropped 4 tabs (supposedly 150ug each) and didn't know what I was getting into. Although it turned out to be my best trip out of the five I've had as of now, there were defenitely times I felt out of control and close to bad tripping. Thankfully I had done a LOT of reading and that helped, and I had a trip sitter over the phone (that was his presence didn't fuck with me, but I also felt safe in case). Acid is definitely no joke. It's fun but you have to be responsible and don't be cocky. Reading about LSD prior to tripping definitely helps, but it won't prepare you for anything that can happen. Kind of like school... it will do a lot to prepare you for life, but you probably will have to learn and deal with things on the spot in the future too, that you weren't aware you would have to deal with. My best way to describe the mental space on acid, is imagine living a mini lifetime that isn't yours (and yet it is, acid brings out things you keep on the back burner of your mind) in the time span of 12 hours. Your perspective is not your usual one. You don't just physically perceive things differently, you mentally perceive them differently too. Hope this helps anyone who comes across my comment.

I think the most euphoric thing when tripping is when you truly realize that you're alive and you exist....TRULY realize it in that very moment. You're part of time and space and history. Watching this video I was able to feel that feeling... which is what tripping represents for me so I say it's a success. I got really sad but happy at the same time. I started to think about all the possibilities in life and all the time that I've wasted and places and things I will never see. I can feel both the past and the future at the same time. I feel like I could have existed in ancient times and feel connected to it. But if you stare down at your phone you realize we're living in the future already and it happened so quickly that we didn't stop to realize it. So you start to feel like an alien using alien technology and you go back and forth between freaking out but being bewildered with amazement as well. LOVE it

I tripped in my backyard/woods and it felt very altered and mystical, I was worried things would look scary because of my friend's horror story about tripping + eating an apple that started screaming and bleeding and his shroom trip where tree branches became huge snakes. But once I got past the 'oh these visuals arent that strong and I feel safe' I was able to explore more, ride my bike around, and enjoyed a cold drink and a banana. Good shit. It was a low dose of LSD for my first time (like 100ug, maybe 150) - now that I know the mental feeling of tripping, I'm interested in trying a stronger dose to pull something bigger out of it because my experience was pretty good but not as intense as I thought, actually.

Just to clarify things, after several trips, I reached a point that things were becoming too similar to previous trips, so I stopped taking it and have never used it again since then. I had always tripped in the company of good friends, except for the last time when I tripped alone. What I recall of the trips, was not so much seeing things wobble, but rather feeling that everything was changing (visually) around me. On one occasion, the TV on and it began to look more like a window that you could reach through, and that the people on a late night talk show were talking directly to me. That kind of makes sense now because in reality they are indeed often looking directly at the camera. We would usually listen to albums by the Beatles, which was amazing. A friend came over to me and said "Put this on." It was a stereo headset. That put the sounds into a whole different realm, and it was as though they were physically emerging from the speakers and singing directly to you. At some point, I went into the bathroom, and looking in the mirror, I could see my face melting and becoming the face of someone hideous and completely unknown laughing at me. After returning to where everyone else was, I sat down to see that everything and everyone were fading away. The girls all had a cackling laughter and their faces were beginning to look like they were wearing strange masks. It was like everyone in the room was involved in some kind of ritual. And I was just there observing all this happening. They eventually faded from view. The air around me looked like it was a lime-green color with countless bright yellow or white spheres that would swell up brighter and brighter then burst in a flash to disappear with others reappearing and doing the same thing. The whole thing was like being immersed into the weird world where you could see the air was filled with atoms. Eventually, that too began to fade and I passed through this 'curtain' and I felt myself in space of the universe where I was pulsating in size from normal to stretch out to the farthest reaches of the universe and shrinking back down to normal size again over and over. I thought I was dying, never to return to the life I knew. My values became different and more appreciative with what there is in the life we live. I found myself in some kind of horizontal stormy vortex that was spinning around and around. On the 'wall' of the vortex there were images in motion of every event in the history that has ever happened. The grimmest part depicted wars with people killing other people. I asked myself if this was how the world was meant to be. There was a metallic noise of buzzing and clangs. The vortex and images were going faster and faster, and eventually faded. I found myself in a weird cartoon-like world similar to those created by R. Crumb in Zap Comix. Several strange human-like characters were bent over with wide eyes and running in a circle around me. They were desperately saying, "This is just a trip! Nothing is real!", over and over again. Others were standing off looking like cartoonish bad boy troublemakers smoking by a cartoon fence and saying, "Fire! Fire! Fire! Come on man. Ya want some?" Everything was going faster and faster. I was completely speechless and had no idea where I was or what was happening. At that point, I began to slowly return to the familiar world I knew with all my friends. It took a while to reflect on all that I saw, heard, felt, and experienced. On the one hand, colors during the trip were bright and colorful. Things stood out in a richer and deeper kind of 3-dimensional way, but not like things ordinarily seen like that. My head was still spinning from the trip. All I knew is that the trip had immersed me into a total hallucination. That was the kind of LSD experience I had. Total hallucination of sight and sound, of experiences and memories, of thoughts and values about what's most important and what's not. I began to see the world in a different and sensitive way. It's hard to imagine what my friends experienced. It was something that can't be clearly described in words. Perhaps such a trip as simulated in the video is similar to what some people might experience. But it was nothing like I had experienced. I don't know. Maybe Orange Sunshine and Blue Barrels back in the Sixties were stronger than what's available today. All I know is that it was some of the most intense and life-changing experiences I've ever had. How are things in your town?

@@tonycampos338 No, not tripping. I was finished with that kind of ride a long, long time ago. Just recalling some of the main highlights that stand out in my memory as best I can. Still, it's really difficult, if not impossible, to even come close to describe such a trip in words. On the one hand, such a trip seems impossible, but at the time, it seemed realistic albeit truly weird. The effect was so intense that it's hard to completely forget. I mean, how does one really describe what it's like to be listening to music, and then see the musicians slowly appear and walk out of the stereo speakers while singing directly to you? Even the songs were turning into something organic and alive. It was pretty intense. As I suppose anyone who has tripped on LSD probably knows, at the time everything can seem so deep and crystal clear during the experience, clearer than anything you've ever experienced or known, but becomes less so as you come back down to earth. It just sort of lazily fades away from memory like a distant fog, except for certain highlights. How about you? Were you tripping on it? 😊

Cool video! People obviously experience it very differently. The only visuals i can relate fully to, that are fairly close to what i usually see is at 12:00 - 14:20. Good job man!
