Priceless video. I have failed 5 times and lost over £100k and all my mistakes named in this video. Brilliant help and many thanks to James. I wish I would watch this video first. But at the same time - I have gained experience worth of £100k that not every entrepreneur has.

Having an idea is one thing, but being able to apply that idea and make money out of is is totally different. Everyone can have an idea, but not everyone can run a business. It takes commitment, creativity and the business person itself to drive themselves to create something from an idea.

Hi James, I have to say that in reality, it's not always possible to go out and gain solid experience in your area... For example in fashion (which is my degree area) there are so few jobs and so much competition that most designers cannot find a job. So we have no choice but to start a business... without knowing all the pitfalls. We have to succeed without a track record, there is no other option. Tania
@Philippineoutsourcers11 жыл бұрын
To start a business, all you need is a problem and turn that into an opportunity. Sounds too optimistic but most of the big businesses out there have one goal, to solve the problems. The bigger the problem... the bigger the business is.

My inspiration to write this book is making even more money, why should Mr Khan tell you how to make money, This is how it works my accounting friends, for every £1 you make you take that £1 from someone else, If everyone became rich then we would all be average , none of us would be rich, The game is to stay ahead of you all, you have to be selfish and ruthless
@tawanacamilleri43049 жыл бұрын
edward french how sad that is the only way you think you can be rich by being selfish and ruthless , you give wealthy people a bad name. people like you will get the money only to lose it later
@HONCH1239 жыл бұрын
tawana camilleri You do talk a load of rubbish, How do you know I am not rich, you are so ready to attack me instead of reading my wise teachings that you don't think before you engage your brain in first gear
@tawanacamilleri43049 жыл бұрын
when did i say youre not rich , what a drama queen.did i not include you in "wealthy people" , giving an opinion that is opposite to yours is called a different point of view , someone disagreeing with your "wise words" does not constitute "attack" ...queen. lastly get over it!

I'm a non student i studied 6 months business administration,im constructing a business plan atm, and im struggling on the financial part any ideas? i have little experience in actual field and my aims are to gain as much much more experience, to be able to get that confidence and assure my abilities are a spot on, and this video has motivated me so so much i know so much more now,, im going to watch this every day for the rest of my plan....until i succeed and when i do i will want to meet this team..
@thelifeupgrade570010 жыл бұрын
karsan bachu Hi Karsan. Constructing the fianancial part of your business plan, is quite the daunting task. My experinece has allowed me to understand that whatever your fianancial projections on income and expenditure in your business plan, you will always be miles out. When we have an idea, we are all guilty of singing its praises to the point that our projections are exxagerated. The problem with business plans, is that everything is to the letter and based on many assumptions, but you have to make sure they are realistic and you understand them. In terms of outgoings, take your figure... and double it.

I have been wanting to open my own cafe/restaurant. I am trying to find the funding or help with it. This part is so hard to do. I need some advice or help. I love your video. This means a lot when you have the passion to want to do something with your life. It is like you said you have to have the passion for it but you will still have the ups and downs with a business. I don't care what kind of business you have it will happen to you.

Anyone can create a business in 7 days. But, do you think this video will help you make it work or even make money? Will James Caan show you step by step how to sort finances or create a killer product in 7 days? I don't think so. This is conjecture. This is just Caan gaining exposure for his own purposes for his own ego.
@mashedpotatoes62258 жыл бұрын
So, I can't start my business in 7 days, I have to work with it first for a couple of years and understand everything and then start it in 7 days once I have the money and the expertise? Sounds like that are the companies that make money predictably for investors, not for people.

thanx james , for your video art tells it tells more reallity than anyone can imagen , I`ve just have seen half of the video and I got yah got it... Talent, Understanding for all, the point I learnt is You deserve for what u been working hard for !!! is the golden rule no shortcuts (no cheating), it creates just debts in anyhow, Simple example: like going to the gym if u been cheating u know what u Body looks , if have been working harder u know what u body looks there isnt a way for cheating o shortcuts....

What people really really need to start a new busines from scratch is some capital (cash) and a good mentor (advisor). Without these two there is little or no point in starting a business as banks are extremely reluctant to lend to would be entrepreneurs as they see this as being far too risky. I wonder how many of those in the audience, sitting and listening to James Caan, actually literally started their own business in 7 days. My guess...0%

He is arrogant. The guy Spike is an example of how luck can play a major part in business. He said the day JCs cheque cleared the markets collapsed. What if the markets had collapsed 6 months after that cheque had cleared? In all likelihood that capital would have been tied up in those very same markets and would have been lost. Arrogance is dangerous for anyone. Caan is a lot less wealthy than Sean Quinn was. Quinn is now bankrupt and in prison.
