I always wondered how that worked...thanks for explaining. Great video but not as great as your famous "Flash Sale" videos that I look for with great anticipation.

My 50hp hydrostatic that I purchased new in April has over 60 hours on it and hasn't gone into regen yet. I work it hard and never let it idle except on start up for a few minutes to let it warm up, and before shutting off for a few minutes for the turbo to cool. I know other people with similar tractors that go into regen about every 30 to 40 hours. Like Mike says, these thing like to be worked, not babied! I also run a good Amsoil fuel additive in the tank, same stuff I use in my 2018 Ram 3500 6.7 Cummins, and it never needs to regen either; it is also worked hard towing a 19,000 lb 5th wheel trailer...

Found that 17 to 1800 RPM is a sweet spot to run tractor after the warm up/shutdown idle and your Regens will be far apart. Try it and be amazed.
