Ivan Barrientos we are proud of her but please stop this "f# pride" comment. ...#! I cringe everyone this is mentioned.
@zhaquiri7 жыл бұрын
frankacuso Agreed. It's one thing to be proud OF someone who is talented, but it's another thing to say you're a "proud Pinoy here" just because another Filipino is talented. This is not about US, but about the talented. Be proud of the talented, not yourselves, because we have absolutely nothing to do with the talent of the talented...we just happen to share a nationality with them, something we were simply born into and did not even work for.
@solidsnort37577 жыл бұрын
i don't care... obviously, you can make comments whenever or however you want. same goes to me. byeee

Ivan Barrientos Stoll doesn't negate the simple fact that you're making SOMEONE ELSE'S talent about you instead of them. Kapal ng mukha, para lang pwet ng baboon sa kakapal.
@frankacuso7 жыл бұрын
Ivan Barrientos You should care. You should be responsible for what you post in the internet. Ang tingin ng iba sa atin ay mayabang, cocky, shallow minded, mapang-angkin. Dr. Norman G. Owen, who is based at University of Hong Kong, criticized the proliferation of hoaxes and exaggeration of historical facts in an effort to build on "Pinoy Pride", such as the claim that Agapito Flores was the inventor of the fluorescent lamp. Owen said that such exaggerations give an impression that by resorting to such acts, Filipinos as a people do not have much to be proud of, which he believes is not the original intention of such people engage in such acts.

@miguelguzman14956 жыл бұрын
jeremiah asoy Read my comment again. I did not say that Audrey Hepburn is an accent. I clearly said “she sounded just like Audrey Hepburn”. That’s what I said. Because she did sound like Audrey Hepburn when she was a teenager after she somewhat had the British accent. An American accent is different from sounding like Audrey Hepburn. Next time, i suggest that you fully comprehend what you’re reading.

♡ Amazing ♡ I've seen her up close and taken a picture with her. She is indeed a breath of fresh air! One thing I'd like to say though is; to those Filipinos who get all über patriotic and assertive and start calling her the Philippine's Pride and Joy and etc: we do this thing...and when we aren't proud of a fellow Filipino celebrity who goes international and gets into a scandal, we start talking them down and shaming them for making Philippines look bad. I'd like to say that these people have sacrificed a lifetime of themselves to their passions. And they should all be graced with how hard working they all are!!! Regardless of how they turn out. It makes Filipinos look like arrogant hypocrites and honestly pisses me off! -_- *end rant* On a more positive note, this interview was amazing. Lea is so inclusive and receptive as were the interviewers. These three have very good chemistry. I enjoyed this clip thoroughly. Thank you kindly for posting. ♡
