wish I could post a pic of my 540 enticer long trac here, I shortened the skid and put a 121x1" polaris track on it dual carbs built my own aluminum gas tank psi pipe shaved the stock seat way down and re covered it, I got some more work to do on it but it's getting there for sure. crazy I started my build and about a week later you put your first build vid of this up I dig it man!

put a hydrolic piston to control the steering? steering cam from the shaft can push/pull a hydrolic piston, run the line to another piston in front, one mounted to the cab, the other to your link, you could save space by getting real fancy and put different sized pistons to make steering lighter or heavier, it would be fun to play with steering ratios, and a cool fail safe built in where you cant steer until the whole sled is nice and worm, modern power steering works the same was, only difference is that there is still a mechanical connection as a fail safe to the hydrolic pump, so the only down sides i can think of is if it were to leak/fail you have no steering, and would be stif in the cold. let me know what you think louie.

Stumbled on this channel. My buddy Geo had a brand new Yamaha 340 in 1981. Can’t remember if it was an Enticer or an Exciter. Oil injection two stroke. Killer sled.

Polaris seat with the linked steering components from the rx1. But I wouldn't want to cut that hood, I know the problem with getting the air in. But what about a 2" lift on the bumper for the hood to sit on? Then you could make an air intake off of that.

to help do an alignment with no skis run a piece of threaded rod thru the ski bolt holes will hold it all straight and can install steering components like that ... love how that thinks sits lol how high off he ground is the front ?

smaller gas tank fit under the polaris seat must be the perfect set up. just erase polaris logo and put a curved steering post like tundra or freestyle 2007 and up

You should try to find an xp fuel tank I bet it would move everything forward and look cleaner. Also you Need to dual carbs and bring the r1 steering post between them.

cut the steering shaft just in front of the gas tank and put a u joint knuckle on it and bring it vertical and forward about 6 inches
