I think you either overlooked something or intentionally oversimplified things. But Phantom parts are different from Ranger/Dreadnaught/Baneblade in that tactical might comes from control system instead of a suspension frame. That makes for some interesting combinations when mixing Phantom with other parts, as you can have a very high tactical might coming from 3 parts.

I got my first full Baneblade set. Going on Weapon and suspension for my second Baneblade set. These trick on mixing parts make me think that it may be more interesting to go on Weapon/suspension twice (to have two sets of 2 baneblade+4 regular) rather than going for a second full set that takes ages to complete. Any thoughts?

Same situation and was thinking the same thing. Guess it depends if your pinch point is getting more super cores or the parts to craft baneblade? If its the diamonds/parts to craft Baneblade then i think i would. If its the Super Cores i might be more hesitant.

My thinking is if the diamonds are you constraint then your getting one cheap/quick BB part and one Med Part. Cheap Parts (suspension / tire) are 16% less diamonds / speedups than medium parts (weapon / armor) and 43% quicker than expensive Parts (CC / Engine)

In my experience mix parts are always weaker , damage buff is the most strong stats and if you touch the set , you will lose it

Yeah for some combos certainly, where it's all about killing, like the huntress example. But for APCs that are all about not dying, like the casino APC, HP gain is equally proportionate to damage

Alternatively if you have Kami i would put him in your first formation and pull Canon down to this formation.
