I was born and grown up in Istanbul. I left Türkiye when I was teenage. I did travel alot and learn few languages on the way. English is my third language so far. But I never ever come across any City like Istanbul. I mean you never ever go anywhere in this world to get personal touch in your shopping like my country fellas. Not to mention their hospitality. It makes me so proud.

I loved my time in Turkey so much. I've visited quite a few places and Istanbul is easily one of my top 5 favorite cities in the world!

Very enjoyable vlog, Janette; thanks for sharing. The visuals were wonderful. So much deliciousness. A little difficult to hear your commentary. Looking forward to next adventure.

Yes, my gopro case is not great for audio - I've just started filming on my other camera so hopefully that will solve it!

Janette, I had planned to visit the Grand Bazar in Istanbul. Unfortunately, I have an admirer in the shop before that who does not let up, although I explained to him that I do not want contact.😗 Is the Spice Bazaar far away (on foot) from the Grand Bazar? These many delicious spices and I see, like me, you usually don't eat sugar.👍

I liked the Spice Bazaar so much more than the Grand Bazaar! But it is quite a bit smaller. It's not far away at all. I walked back and forth between the two several times. It is not a straight shot though, so you might get a little lost in the crowded streets! If you want to go directly to the Spice Bazaar the easiest way might be from Eminonu, then walk away from the water following the "Misir Carsisi" signs.
