As a lifelong LSU fan and current student, this season was by far the most fun I’ve had watching football. Joe had many doubters last year, but I knew he had this fire and tenacity inside of him that would show itself after some time with the guys in the offseason. It was very apparent after the bowl game against UCF. It was a dream come true for us to not only have the Heisman winner, but also a national championship while I was enrolled. Great analysis as always!

Colin Barlow exactly, i think people are biased on what they see most, so with Fromm for example, he does tend to throw shorter to mid range passes so I could see why people don’t think he can do it despite him having games where he’s thrown deep well, but with burrow he throws deep like 10 times a game and hits almost every one of them so idk what zac is talking ab with this take
@fredder1004 жыл бұрын
@@danieldelarosa4252 He said before that he doesn't have an issue with Burrow's arm strength. In this case he was talking about a "perfect" prospect. The fact is Burrow doesn't have the strongest arm ever so yeah it could be better. That's not the same as saying it's an issue. Also throwing accurate deep passes is not the same as having arm strength. Most QBs can throw that far. It's more apparent when fitting in windows in the short or intermediate throws. Burrow's arm strength is not an issue but there's no arguing that a guy like Carson Wentz has more velocity on his throws. I think you two missed what he meant.

This LSU team is getting lots of love as possibly the GOAT, and its well deserved. Certainly in the conversation given what they accomplished. That said, I'm going to play devil's advocate here: 1995 Nebraska is the best and most dominant team I've ever seen. They trailed twice all season and had every game in hand by halftime. They averaged 400ypg. Rushing. Average margin of victory was 38+ppg, and lowest margin of victory 14points for one game after giving up a couple garbage time touchdowns. They beat four teams ranked in the top 10 during the season, and four of their opponents finished the season in the top 10. Three of them had commanding victories in their bowl games. The fourth was Nebraska's championship opponent, a very good and undefeated Florida team, that up to that point, won every game prior by double digits. Nebraska absolutely annihilated, rushing for over 500yrds with a 62-24 final score. Welcome to the club, 2019 LSU!

@danielminton38764 жыл бұрын
@@astrothunder3580 people overreacted after the game against Alabama last season. He had good stats in that game but if you watch the throws he wasn't very accurate, TL just had receivers that were much better than all of Alabama's corners except Surtain and they never really threw the ball towards Surtains side of the field like they did to Stingly. The difference was LSU had other good corners opposite Stingly that could matchup with Clemson's receivers. Plus Tua's play made TL look better than he actually was, Tua has great accuracy but he pre-determines who he's throwing the ball to a lot and Venabels gave Tua looks that fooled him into bad throws. Venabels couldn't do that to Burrow he doesn't pre-determine where he's throwing the ball much. So people overreacted to him beating an Alabama team that really did not have anywhere near as good of defense as any Nick Saban team prior to that year, they lost most of their experience to the NFL and also were young injury riddled on top of that. I don't see him having a good game at all against a 2012 Alabama or LSU defense because those 2 defenses that year were scary good.

@@danielminton3876 Nice analysis. A lot of fans shriek about how Clemson last year beat “the best Bama ever”, and I just cringe because it was nonsense.
