From the time he took the job (controversially) in 2007 to his retirement in 2024, Nick Saban transformed the Alabama Crimson Tide into the most dominant force in the history of college football. His teams won eight SEC titles to go with six national titles--he coached Heisman winners like Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry, and Pro Bowlers like Julio Jones and Marcell Dareus. But in an era of NIL and scholarship limits, how did he pull it all off?
The answer lies in the story of his infamous Process--the message he's been preaching for years.

By 19:52, My head was like "Yo, Sir Alex Ferguson was that exact kind of coach" And you went ahead and compared Nick Saban to the EPL legend. 🤯 I would say, they pretty much had parallel careers. Dominating early, adapting through the times, and leave the game perfectly timed to not have downfalls that will severely tarnish their legacy

Great video. You talked alot about how he manages the program and the game tactically. But that's because he's simply a football mastermind. But "The Process" is really more about you as an individual than it is about football at all. It's about your mindset. It's about your willingness to give effort, have the mental toughness to execute and do your job consistently at a high level regardless of the external factors that are beyond your control, and have the discipline to do your job the right way every time all the time. Because none of those things require any ability. The scoreboard doesn't matter, what happened on the last play doesn't matter. Be where your feet are right now, because the next play is the most important play of the game, so that's where all of your focus needs to be. Trust the process.

@@yourfavoritelawnguy2722I mean aside from the mark barron texts where he has to repay money after signing with a competing agency. Ha-ha Clinton dix in violation of “team rules” after they had just put Corey harris on leave for giving a “loan” to dix and Harris’s ties to an nfl agent and violated compliance. The school itself concluded this. Bo Davis got a two year show cause for violating recruiting rules meeting with recruits organized by boosters. Like loook all the big teams did shady stuff and found ways to pay players but stop trying to deny Alabama was a huge leader in it.
