I love this... Sounds like they combined some of the older cadences with the newer themes... Brought back the bass solo... Reminds me of the good old days

2nd tenor player from left is lost. (1:55) Is there a reason LSU never accepts challenges from other drumlines?

Middle Tenor was getting it until the second cadence kicked his butt. someone forgot to do their drum home work lol (but tbf they hardly ever played that cadence... first time I've seen it performed in decades. I was a member of the Bleu Raeders Drum & Bugle Corps. The first half of the cadence LSU is (and still plays) playing is our cadence which was written by Marty Hurley, our instructor, who later went to Phantom Regiment. Those of us who were in the Bleu Raeders are honored that LSU still uses our cadence and still calls it “Raeders,” the second half of their cadence being called “Blue Bells.” Members of the Bleu Raeders marched LSU in the 70’s, therefore bringing them the cadence. University of New Orleans, Ole Miss, and others, at times, used our cadence. I hope LSU never stops using it!!!! It keeps the Bleu Raeders alive!
