Gotta love the hypocrisy of college football. For years all SEC fans and even ESPN would say about Kelly is how he can not handle a SEC schedule, over rated, would get upset when ND made it to the playoffs as Kelly would be exposed, etc. But he goes to LSU and beats Bama one time by one point on a gutsy call and now these same SEC fans and ESPN are saying he is a mastermind, a genius, will be ruling the SEC now, etc. So freaking hilarious to see how idiotic these people are.

It's the name of the game. People are allowed to put respect on people for doing something good even if they dissed them in the past. It will be okay. BK hasn't always been consistent. He has grown with this team over a season and built a good program. If he's getting respect he deserves, what's it matter how people felt in the past, that's all of life.

The difference between a "great coach" and an "ok coach" or even "a lousy coach" is, quite often, an inch or less. If Daniels throws too low/high, or Taylor does not make the catch or stumbles before the endzone, or Bama player makes a great tackle, we would not be hearing all the praise.

For targeting, it has to be: "Launch-a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area". It appears Branch was going after Daniels' torso, not his head or neck, as he obviously could not know that Daniels was going to slide.
