LSU just won the National Championship & the defense played a big role. There are many potential future 1st rounders like Grant Delpit, Kristian Fulton & Derek Stingley Jr. The player who enjoyed a breakout season was LB K’Lavon Chaisson. Chaisson has all the talent in the world, but he just needed to stay healthy. This season he did & now the college football world saw how good he can be.

LSU LB K’Lavon Chaisson answered a lot of questions this season. After an ACL tear ended his 2018 season, he returned this year & dominated offensive lineman consistently. The biggest thing he showed was that he could stay healthy. @@Name-jw4sj lol, you know nothing. Sorry boi, this is LSU, not Clemson. Chaisson is good in coverage and getting the backfield. Danielle Hunter was also considered more of an athlete coming out from LSU as he had few sacks but great athletic ability and he could get into the backfield a lot. Watch a few games a focus on him. He consistently gets into the backfield, he just doesn't always make the play. He'll learn that technique in the pros just like Hunter. Hunter had 18.5 sacks as a situational player his first two years with one start in the NFL. Over his past 32 starts he has 142 tackles 29 sacks 36 TFL 3 FF and 1 TD

Ali your pretty quick to bash a guy who led the league in sacks one year....there have been much worse busts then Vic....he is one of the main reasons thats 2016 team even made the Super Bow and should have won...if Matt Ryan and shanahan didn’t choke it away that is....after that loss this team has NEVER been the same and won’t be till Quinn and Matt Ryan are gone so don’t be so quick to blame his lack of production the last couple years just on Vic the whole team underproduced..this team has been in a funk since that day...bet he’d do well with a change of scenery

Early on the highlights were just free rushes for sacks... but he eventually starts showing some real talent. Bull rushes, spin moves, and some tenacity to get at the QB. He’s got some injury history but the talent and skill is absolutely there

%1000 agree!! everyone is so hyped about him and tbf I understand why..he's an athletic freak..but we've seen MANY guys like him that have all the athleticism in the world but fail in the NFL cuz many of the offensive linemen are freaks too..u can run by people in college with no technique, not in the NFL..don't get me wrong I'd love to have him on my team but it's so risky to take him in the top 20 based solely off athleticism..dude has 9.5 sacks in 3 college seasons..I just don't see how that's worthy of a top 20 pick..super high bust potential..

@@jdmoore988 yeah I'm a Cowboys fan as well..reason he scares me so much is he's another risky pick based solely off athleticism..we've already over drafted and blown top picks on the def line in recent yrs (Taco, Hill)..even Vander Esch was a risk at #19 seeing as how he's a LB that already had neck problems..Chaisson feels to me like another risky pick..most DE's need 2-3yrs to develop the skills necessary to be a good NFL pass rusher and Chaisson is very raw..I'd love to have him but at 17?? I mean here we go, once again a top pick that has bust potential written all over it cuz ur drafting solely off athletic ability..9.5 sacks in 3 college seasons isn't exactly much evidence..if he was a late rd1 or early 2 I'd take that risk..Cowboys simply can't afford to blow another high pick on the def..give me someone safer for now..this is a pick u make when u already have a good to great defense and u wanna take a shot as opposed to having to rebuild ur defense where u can't afford to miss..
