Brian Thomas Jr has a bright future. What I liked about him in these clips is when he is making those tough catches in the back of the end zone on a few of his TD's, he's getting that second foot down. He already has the instincts of performing the toe tap to perfection.

a 1:17 he ran a stop and go, he wouldn't be considered one of the top receivers in this class if he only ran go routes. in some of those clips he is probably running a route but it ends in him going straight down the field and we just don't get to see the route.

I don't think enough people realize that Harrison & Thomas are basically the same WR with some differences & similarities.. They're both listed at 6'4 & 205 LB's with similar speed & athleticism. Their catch radius is about the same as well.. The only differences I think is that Harrison is a slightly better route runner while Thomas is better getting YAC. They both can line up in the slot or on the outside & are red zone threats because of their size..

I would say that Harrison has better footwork & his cuts are sharper but that's about it.. Thomas has plays like this (3:01) where he's gotten separation as well.

I the Brian has the capability to become the 2nd best WR in this upcoming draft behind Harrison Jr. Harrison like you mentioned is a better route runner and overall has a much higher floor than Brian. But that ceiling is on par with MHJ.

Brian is damn near identical to Tee Higgins, hear me out. - Both weren’t the strongest receivers but both know how to use their 6’3+ frame at the catch point - Both possess grit where they really fight through their routes if they are contested - Limited route tree in particular short range catches - Purely outside WR - Insane ball tracking ability - Both struggled early in press man - high potential if his footwork and route running improves

They definitely have some similarities, though I believe Brian Thomas offers better vertical skill in speed, route running and awareness. Brian Thomas also can line up in the slot and run good routes, just wasn’t asked to much when Nabers has a better build for the slot overall. NGL I see shades of Justin Jefferson and that’s not bc of the LSU colors. Not many explosive rangy wrs at that size in the NFL

I worry about the body catches. He can catch with his hands, seen him do it many times. There are times when he waits for the ball to get to his body, which is why Quentin Johnston is struggling at the NFL level so far. He has everything else you want to see in a elite receiver.
