@@phillipturner9598 yes Utah beat Alabama pretty bad. There have been several instances where AAC teams or Noise State has beaten P5 powerhouses. It's the same excuse every time is what I get tired of, "this was Tulane's Superbowl, USC just didn't care" . Sometimes you just gotta give the other team credit that they are better than you think, but the fan bases of these bigger schools never want to do that. Admitting that a team like Tulane or Cincinnati is good means they deserve a seat at the big boy table and they don't want more competition. Thank goodness someone forced them to expand the playoffs. The problem with these teams, typically in the AAC, is that they have a one or two-year run of being really good and then drop back down. By the time they get their respect they are no longer the great team they wear that year before. It's so much harder to sustain without the money of the big programs and will only get harder with the new system, but at least if they have a good year now they can actually prove it after the playoffs expand.
