It's called a rotation, in 2011 we played 8-10 DL a game. That's how its supposed to be, it's how you keep guys fresh. Makes them better. Weird thing to gripe about

Simple, Jack Pyburn left Florida to play all downs on edge. LSU took the hook and will pay him, play him on 3rd Down as well as Start each game. His sole reason was to get after the QB and LSU is responsible for such. With Patrick, you have a plug-n-play guy bigger fish that will challenge Pyburn for play time. This isn’t what Pyburn signed with LSU for. No doubt, it’s a great talented Defensive front. But in this situation, NIL and demands trump what the Coach wants in strategy. Good Luck with making everyone happy and still coaching a strategy that wins.

Can’t help but notice he left 2024 season out when he was listing off the yearly stats. FSU fans aren’t fretting his leaving for a reason.. buddy did nothing but play patty cake with tackles all season. Unless y’all have a Jared verse and Braden Fisk type players playing next to him I wouldn’t expect too much production, especially with the jump in competition.

I totally get what you are saying. I think at times all players get lucky to get in either a good or bad defensive or offensive scheme that fits them better than what they come from or going to. That’s all you can really hope for. I mean. Look at the years Matthew Stafford spent in Detroit. Not necessarily a waste. But getting in another offensive scheme surrounded by other talented players and a Super Bowl was won. Regardless it’s either a hit or miss.
