I love how she understands the concept of " the sport that they play". More men and women need to understand that concept

I wouldn't be fooled into thinking it's what you do that makes you significant. Or believe you have to prove yourself to all you meet.

It’s not because your women, it’s because the sport of /cheer/dance isn’t recognized as a major sport. It’s not a feminist issue. Some people don’t appreciate certain sports 💪🏼🦶🏻👎👊🏻

What does "as a woman of color, you matter" even mean?

Congratulations on winning the NC. But whether or not you “matter” comes from within, not from without. That you can rhythmically contort yourself into a pretzel is utterly irrelevant.

Why are they thrusting and grabbing their crotches? Is that what empowered and accepted people should do?

And sticking out their tongues. That's really...unappealing. I don't care if it's in a lot of choreography. It's gross. I like the rest of it, though.

this is the dance team that rejected addison rae lol. regardless of how you feel about addison i def think she can dance and has enough flexibility and dance talent to be on this team. as a dancer, i've seen the dance skills and technique she has and she's not average. she has a lot of dance experience

maybe she just wasn’t the kind of person she was looking for?? im sure everyone who tried out had a ton of skill. it can really come down to things other than skills.

Hundreds, sometimes thousands of women audition for collegiate teams. Her being "above average " isn't anywhere near good enough. You typically have to be good at multiple forms of dance- jazz, hip hop, contemporary, line, AND pom which is something most studios don't train in. The goal is to win championships- I'm sure the best dancers made the team.

@@disneydarling she’s more than just above average is what im saying. she’s very talented and experienced. have you seen her pics on ig doing different dance skills? she can do a lot more than what you see on tiktok
