I love the chemistry that the Ohio State players have. I knew how good Sheldon and Mikesell were at shooting the 3 ball. The only thing I was questioning coming in was their size against LSU's bigs. They passed. Their entire team can run the floor. Great job all around.

Congrats to Ohio State. Boy did they shoot the ball well. LSU looked out of sorts for much of this matchup. I picked out Kim Mulkey on the sidelines right quick with that outfit, lol. She'll have them even better next year.

@zirc Branham, Liddell and Young carried the team. The guards could NOT stop Gillespie, Moore and Samuels. And when Young got taken out of the game with a concussion, Holtmann NEVER dug deep into his bench. NEVER used 6'11" IU grad transfer Joey Brunk and barely played Justin Ahrens. Game would have been much different had Holtmann used Brunk and Ahrens more than he did. Only went 3 players deep into his bench the entire game. That is NOT going win games. And Holtmann let down the seniors, including Towns and Sueing, who couldn't play.

Idc how you take it but tonight LSU got exposed and this totally shows who was the better team between them and Jackson state honestly … but ofc home team, home crowd, home state, and different culture makes a difference

Nah, as a JSU fan, Ohio State just did what we couldn't do which was the following: Match and exceeded them at guard play, Killed them with the 3 ball, Made LSU bigs a non factor on both sides of the ball. 3 out of the 4 games that LSU lost during the regular season was because they couldn't defend the 3. Culture certainly had nothing to do with it. That's a new one on me that requires explaining. If that's the case, then no use in going back to the tourney because they will be facing the same culture in every game. JSU simply made bad plays down the stretch and gave it away. Imo the SEC was not really that strong this year. I wouldn't be surprised if SC didn't make it either. I knew Sheldon and Mikesell would bring it for OSU.

@@anthonytaylor7928 The SEC used to dominate women's basketball. I would love to see them return to those days as a conference not just South Carolina alone, but of course I will always be rooting for JSU in a matchup against any of them. However I'm not an excuse maker like some of my JSU cohorts. Kim will not be able to turn LSU around with just high schoolers. She will need to utilize the portal.

I'm from.ohio but I was hoping LSU would win I'm a huge fan of pointer Morris and cherry .but LSU low post players was the problem also if Morris was playing I think it would have been a different outcome . I didn't understand when the pressure them full court .why didn't the pressure Ohio state in the half court? But LSU is gonna be a contender when Coach Kim gets her recruits in . Kayla pointer will be a lottery pick she will get picked before ryne Howard watch and see

Hate to say I told you so. A team that plays as a team will always beat a group of of individuals that are just dresses alike. Mulkey can build a better TEAM and she will. She will get the Lady Tigers to the promised land.

Much better than watching men's basketball. Do men even know how to play as a team anymore in both college and pro basketball? Men's basketball is much more about playing as a selfish individual then as a team for the last 2 plus decades. Men's basketball might as well be 1 on 1 instead of 5 on 5.
