If your coffee tastes like dirt, you're not making it right. For me, what works is to always use whole bean and grind just before I brew...brew fast (no more than 4 minutes from switching on to finished), and use about double the coffee you think it needs. Sometimes, more. The absolute worst thing you can do is use too little coffee - that will make it bitter and tasting like dirt. Also, the lighter roasts have more caffeine and less bitterness, so a breakfast blend is smoother and mild tasting compared to a dark, oily roast like espresso, while packing a bigger punch. Here's mud in your eye! ☕️

Tom i wouldn’t use antiseize on the threads of a coil over strut! Bad idea even if the manufacturer recommends it. Think of it this way just like antiseize sticks to EVERYTHING so will every bit of dust and dirt to it. So next time you go to adjust you’ll be there cleaning it off the threads before moving the collars or you will be dealing with it binding due to small rocks and road grime ... I highly recommend the pb blaster graphite dry lube. Never look back again with that stuff.

I was going to make a comment about it sounding great for a turbo diesel but im not that sinister. Great work Tom. I was about to comment about the brakes , but your on to that. Is the rear ride height set for hauling loads etc? If your not gunna load the truck down too much I think the rear could come down about an inch or 2 that might help the handling a little more. Overall the rig looks very nice. Just finished binging the whole Firebolt series. You are total OCD compared to some of the other car shows on KZbin. I do have one nit and another which is a bigger thing. First you should swing over to Finnegan's garage where he recently has done some instruction on welding of exhaust pipes with a purge gas. It makes for better cleaner welds with fewer chances for leakage. My second thing goes all the way back to the start. As a minimum you should have stripped the short block down all the way. With boost you need to increase your ring gaps significantly from factory. At that time you could have easily replaced the rod bolts with ARP. Either Gen 4 rods or aftermarket ones would have been a big upgrade. The pistons too. I realize that you wanted to keep the cost reasonable for the DIYer, but the first thing you will have to do if you go for more power is to pull the engine apart as I described. I'd have sent the block out to be hot-tanked and magnafluxed. There's no telling what might be lurking in the oil and coolant passages in an engine that was home to the little beasties.
@Avetho4 жыл бұрын
Quick question: Have you considered lining the bonnet with a fireproof sound deadening material? As you were pulling out of the garage, it sounded like the camera was picking up a lot of engine mechanical noise rather than the sweet exhaust note. Besides that though I love Firebolt as it is now, you did a beautiful job on it :D

It looks like your ground clearance is on par with my car with those rear suspension parts hanging out the bottom.... May aswell slam it. You can't take it off road as is, but you could still cart junk if its scrapping the ground. To avoid the anti seize cancer, try using motorcycle chain lube on adjustable shocks. It also works great on garage door chains and tracks. But since it's designed to dry to a waxy lubricated surface and protect from the elements it's ideal for this application.

Hi Tom, I wanted to let you know you put the washer on upside down on the shock shaft (before the rubber) it needs to be hollow side down, rubber, chassis, rubber , hollow side up.
