LT Col Vang Fong Funeral: Dr Tony Vang Speech 4 25 21

Dr. Tony Vang, Professor of Education at California State University, Fresno, speaks at LT Col Vang Fong's funeral on April 25, 2021. LT Col Vang Fong was born on January 1, 1944 in the province of Xieng Khouang, Laos. He attended first grade in 1952 and left school at the age of twelve in 1960 to join the Central Intelligence Agency's Secret Army in Laos to fight against the North Vietnamese and the Pathet Lao Communist troops. In 1962, he attended military training school in Savannakhet, Laos to obtain his military training skills. In 1973 he was appointed by General Vang Pao to represent military region 2 in Luang Prabang, the Capitol of Laos. LT Col Vang Fong passed away in Fresno County on February 17, 2021.
