I just ordered the M-200DX Blue burst on Sweetwater today. I only tripped over it because i was in gear obsessed mode and googled “Best budget shred guitars of 2024” and saw this and was like “wait, what is that?!” It was instant love at first site. Unfortunately, people do not know how good LTD guitars actually are! Jackson and Ibanez rules the market. LTD guitars have better fretwork than those guitars.

Great mod platform though! those pickups are really nice for pretty much any genre and look really clean! I ordered the exact same TE version! i'm planning on upgrading the stock pickups for some Seymour Duncan pickups, and use the stock ones on an Epiphone SG that I've been working on for an all-porpose guitar

Great plan! The pickups were great in the stock models but swapping them out will make these unstoppable. Great plan with throwing them into your SG too :)

I got this guitar, the M-version. The pickups are the BEST out of all my budget guitars! 🔥 I have a reason to believe they are on par or at least very close to proper EMG's, as we can hear from this video as well. I doubt changing the pickups will give u any meaningful difference, at least if the goal is metal! But since u are buying the TE, u are probably into jazz or grunge, so nvm, lol.

Great to finally find a demo review for these! Though I already bought the purple M, lol. It plays and sounds amazing! But it just too bad that the purple color is NOT like in ur video or in the promo pics! 😭 I actually thought the color didn't even exist, that it was just some promo pic and then it got changed for whatever reason in the manufacturing, but ur video proved it did exist!! 😱 I assume u got some sort of pre-production model 🤔I just wish this was the color I would have gotten as well; instead of bright purple it's more like dark violet. It's still nice, but not what was advertised... 😓 I dunno why they changed it... I will e-mail the local shop if they know (probably not)...

Hi. I just bought this guitar (Esp/ltd Te-200dx). The neck pickup moves from both sides and came tilted; it’s not straight like the pickup on my Les Paul. It feels like it’s not fixed. Do you know if this is normal?

I grabbed the purple M200 DX and I hated it. The color does not come across as it does in the pictures or this video. The entire body of the guitar was covered in microscratches straight from the factory. And the neck just feels off. The XJ frets are nice. 24 frets is nice. But it's just not great. Also a bit heavy. I am happier with the 2 Squier's I got for the same price. And, mine had dents all in the neck, probably from shipping... but come on, shipping a guitar, they should put it in a better padded box.

Mine came in perfect condition! And the neck is as good as in my Jackson and Ibanez! The pickups are the best out of all my budget guitars! 🔥 I got the purple as well and I do agree, that the color is WAY off from what's here and in the promo pics! 😥 It's still cool, but NOT what was advertised...

@@zanedien Neither! It's dark violet! The color as such would be fine IF that was advertised, but it's NOTHING like in the pics! 😭 Google Jackson JS32Q DKA purple, that's the color!

@@MaximusAdonicus Look at the lighting in this video. They are illuminating the guitar body with a very bright light source. My guess is that is why it looks killer and your guitar looks bland - it's just the lighting.

@@SheepWaveMeByeBye Nanah, it's a decent theory, but nah! The guitar in this video looks EXACTLY like the guitar they advertised! But I just even tried putting my guitar under my lamp, but no amount of light will change its color, lol! The shade of the color and the brightness are just wrong 😣 My best theory is that the guitar in this video is from the original US made pre-production batch, which is what they took pictures of and which is what they were SUPPOSED to release, but when they actually put this in production in China the finish/color changed for some reason 😥 Check out Baritone Goat Studio! He had this guitar in his video with the "real"=flat color!
