I really think he is better at healing then sunflower because he has really broken upgrades such as wormhole 2 times distance of warp makes you faster then brainium basher not joking Reanimate makes you revive 2 times faster for 10 seconds when you use L1 as scientist AS SCIENTIST OP in my opinion, I can get like 40/50 revives per game, Power Wash makes you heal the zombie team behind walls you don't even need to show yourself to heal and also you only need like one scientist at the zombies team who is good at healing while the plants team needs multiple sunflowers

I liked how they handled scientist in bfn, with its upgrades it can cater to both sides of scientist mains, the healers will appreciate the longer range of their beam and the ability to heal multiple allies whilst moving and the more offensive mains will appreciate the improved wrap, instantaneous heal grenade and weapon upgrades they could equip Scientist is one of the classes that faired well in the transition from gw2 to bfn

The reflexive upgrade is also pretty good. It can get rid of status effects and heals you for 10 hp per second. I don’t know if this stacks for every zombie you heal, or is improved with the power wash upgrade, but it has saved me a lot with my support build.

People who say that Bfn sunflowers heals too much clearly never faced a Scientist. He is so underrated in this game, and I'm glad he now feels like a proper support character unlike in Gw2. (Also, something you forgot to mention is that he can revive multiple allies)

I think bfn scientist healing is better then sunflower because you only need 1 good scientist who can heal the zombie team while the plants need multiple sunflowers

I want to mention that if you are good at micromanagement you can use Power Wash aggressively. That and Wormhole, doubling your warp distance, increases your survivability drastically, and Reflexive allows you to bypass needing to use your Sticky Healy Thingy to remove Grody Goop and such.

I like how they remake the scientist into a full healer with all the things a healer does. Compare to the first two games, where the scientist can only heal one ally at a time, basically like the Sunflower but with a shotgun. Scientists can also heal and revive teammates in the first game, making them valuable assets in team battles. It adds a new layer of strategy to the game and makes the character more versatile. Additionally, having a scientist or two on the team can greatly increase the chances of survival in difficult battles. My favorite build consists of the Power Hose, which extends the length of my healing beam. CPR, for healing allies quickly when they are low on health. Wormhole, to extend the length when I use Warp, either for me to escape or to catch up with a dying teammate. And finally, the Super Saviour serves many and multiple purposes, as explained by Lt. Dark Ring. Mainly, this build is for dedicated healers like me who desire to heal and not kill. If you want to be aggressive, then go for this build: Dolphin Blasting, Precision, and Super Saviour for those who want a more aggressive build. Dolphin Blasting for an increased rate of fire and Precision for every pellet to land on an enemy successfully. Super Saviour, you already know it.

Actually, Scientist has inverted damage drop-off, it's not a visual error since Scientist is a healer and not good at close combat, also speaking of damage drop-off, Foot Soldier has damage drop-off with his ZPG as it deals 125 from long range and 175 for close range

@@Otherface that’s because gw2 is a much bigger game. With all the variants there’s bound to be some balancing issues. BFN is so bare bones in content and replayability that they have no excuse.

​@R M bigger ≠ better. Sure, the will be balancing issues with how big the game is, but some of these changes looks like are bad on purpose. Take the unnecessary nerfs Rock Pea got, for example. Or Toxic Citron's existence. Or the nerfs Armor Chomper got. Or the buffs Epea got. Meanwhile, while I won't deny that Bfn also has some balancing issues, most of these problems can be fixed just by the player's skill. Brainium Basher? Keep your distance and use the environment. Steam Blaster? Snipe him? Chomper? Same. His secondary isn't even that good as how people make it look like. Citron? He is way too overconplicated to play with. Only try-hards know, and that's in 1 out of 10 Citrons.
