Very clear explanation but one more correction... To calculate the cut length of stirrup we have to consider centerline length of the stirrup bar (not the extreme outer length)

2*(A+E)+24d is used in case of mild steel upto 25mm dia and hook length considering 8d ,for hysd upto 25mm dia the formula should be 2*(A+E)+29.2d as the k value is 4
