Some of us came as Au-pairs and we did quite well. It is the end goal that matters. Managed to do my Bachelors and masters and I was blessed enough to get a good paying job.

If I knew you then, I would have encouraged you to go. You were soo young and had a great opportunity at making it big. Starting as an aupair doesn't mean that you do that work for the rest of your life. There is always progress. You could have gone back to school and explore the opportunities. Anyways, maybe that was not your path to take. Best wishes
