I really need this; I have gone so off course from someone who used to exercise regularly and had a personal trainer, to just donating to the gym and having a hard time getting back in the routine. I don't feel like I am depressed; but I definitely need to get my mojo back! Thank you so much for your efforts to help us, Dr. Axe! 🤩

The best thing you can do for young kids is involve them in gardening, I was involve since 4. Better diet, better mental and physical health, great skill to be able to grow your own food, it's kind of complex skill which a lot of adult can't learn - I learned that from talking to people, their plants keep dying. It was my hobby to grow plants my whole life

Hey Dr. Axe. I really like your a lot of your perspectives and feel you give a lot of level headed advice. We have started to try some of your products like the collagen powders. Just wanted to give some feedback on packaging. I was a little surprised when it arrived that all the containers were only half full. What I have gleaned from your channel is you wish to help others with honest health and wellness guidance while bringing attention to unhealthy culture that can come with big food/health Institutions. I feel more honest packaging size for contents would help represent this better (plus save plastic and maybe shipping costs along the way). Thanks again.

The concept of time blocking I believe can also be multiplied with the Pomodoro technique. It’s a technique that is for individuals who would like to focus on specific tasks because they may get sidetracked by setting a timer for x amount of amounts (however long you need) and you only focus on that one task until the timer runs out. I personally do it when I need to work or clean.

Do you have any suggestions on how my husband (60 years old) can increase his testosterone without synthetic hormones? Dr suggested testosterone injections but after much research we decided against that. I do hormone pellets which are great but very expensive and would be a lot more expensive for him.

This sounds like an ideal life when you can timebox your life away. But how about all those people keeping the country, state , city , town keeping things going. The nurses, doctors, cleaners, teachers, bank workers, shopkeepers all out there working 8, 10, 12 hour days plus their commute. Their ideal life could be just getting up and getting through their day, getting home, eating, giving some time to the children and having some sleep. Hard to win a morning, when the day looms large with work.
@jordang3649
@jordang3649 2 ай бұрын
All of those professions can have time boxing applied. What you described; getting through their day, getting home, eating, giving time to children and having sleep is simply surviving. That's not living. Getting through their day is the main phrase that stood out to me. There are days where adversity forces us to just get through it but I'd venture to say that when one's true purpose is discovered.. Getting through the day becomes making the day. Purposeful work is one of the most fulfilling activities one could do. I believe the purpose of winning the morning is to prepare you for that purposeful work ahead. Winning the morning requires discipline, work, focus, and intentionality. Starting the day with intentionality will lead to the remainder of the work throughout the day to be approached with intentionality. I'll make a suggestion, instead of having the perspective that the day looms with work, try seeing it as a day filled with purpose driven work.
@kerriecu2
@kerriecu2 2 ай бұрын
@@jordang3649 I can agree wholeheartedly with you and love being a nurse of more than fifty years. Yes , I can afford to do some timeboxing. Yes it is possible in an ideal life, but just not possible for everyone, or many people. Just getting through the day may take all that they have in the endeavour to feed, clothe and house their family.
