I had the same issue with my NVR. I was going to spend $300 on a new NVR but then I watched this video and was able to fix it on my own at home. My issue was even more simple. A few of my capcitors were bent and just needed to be straightened out. Now works like a charm!

Having the same issue with my Canavis NVR, already swaped the hard drive out, still doing it ....you now inspired me to take a look at the capacitors and if need be replacing them. Thank you couldn't find this info anywhere else online

I have an NVR screen that starts for one minute and then shut down. Switching it on again immediately, it won't restart. It always works for one minute after leaving it unplugged for several days. I checked the capacitors but they are ok. Any clue what could be causing this in my case ?

un plug all drives, bad hard drives cause that problem.

Check that the hard drive is good. that is the most common problem the other cause could be a network conflict, besides that it could be a hardware issue like in the video.

I have one that is in loop during the start, always shows the LOGO and nothing else! The DVR is LOREX 4K ULTRA HD NVR LNR6108-N. So i need one copy of the memory to reprog . Could you help me ?

Hi there! I have most likely same problem. but very recently it doesn't showing anything, and when click on something, it shows SYSTEM LOGIN, and asking for password that I left it blank, so when I click again it shows System Maintaining! Contact installer Plz and on the bottom shows a code but I don't really know what's going on! any idea please?

if i dont keep my dvr connected to cloud via ethernet it keeps reboot but worse than that it resets my settings each time all my motion detect spots resoloution everything, even keeping ethernet in and put settings to never reboot it still occasionally does giving me groundhog day each time......dont suppose u know whick part of the board could be responsible for this??

I think you have a IP conflict, try connecting the Ethernet cord than disabling DHCP after it obtains a connection. if it is still having that problem check that all cameras are static and you are on a range far beyond the DHCP. I usually do this in the router, set the DHCP range to 100 for example than set all of your camera system below that number.

@@YOYOCrescendo ​ @YOYO Crescendo thnkyou for your reply i think you could be on to something as the person i swapped my perfeclty working one(doh)!! for kept on getting msgs saying i.p conflict but since i got it home at mine now its no longer getting the i.p conflict msg, and i have checked too via my router.... but i still every reboot old settings comeback and it appears to be impossible to stay off dhcp too, i untick it then go back to that page and already it is ticked again, i guess i should be gratefull that it lets me change motion detect areas and time until it reboots of course!!! even restore to default or factory settings doesnt work, i tried changing the cr2032 battery on motherboard, format hard drive, log in via cms to restore to default and cant find a reset button or even the j1 part on motherboard either......its driving me nuts, maybe im just gonna have to admit defeat on this one!!!!!.....p.s.i know the old owner used to switch it off almost daily by the plug instead of properly shut down.

@@hystericalnutter6801 you might want to check if there is a button battery on the main board if that is dead it will cause that exact problem.

@@YOYOCrescendo yes i was really exited when i thought it was that but it wasnt, that was the cr2032 battery i changed on motherboard, the person whos it was was actually my mum lol hence the swap hoping i could fix it, im thinking now that its because she kept switching it off by the plug switch each day and its corrupted the settings data but formating the hard drive didnt help, i was hoping i could reset or swap out something via the motherboard as nothing else has worked ..... sannce are no help at all and not even contactable so that ones not an option and dont want to but a new dvr until i got a 1080p at minimum tv or moniter or else it would have to be another 1080n dvr which is about same price as a 1080p one but half the picture quality......gggrrrrrrrrr!!!!

@@hystericalnutter6801 if you log in to the DVR from a computer you can update the firmware, I would also recommend factory resetting it in the maintenance menu.

the board schematics or the firmware? you can get the firmware from www.ltsecurityinc.com/downloads, I do not have a Board schematic as these are Hikvision rebranded DVR's.

In honesty I created this video to give to LTS because I am a dealer, and was tired of getting my returns back un fixed, that is why I explain everything and take so long to get to the point. the video was 2.5 hours long before editing.
