LTT Beretta 1301 Tactical - Is it the Best!

I was lucky to snag the Beretta 1301 Tactical with the pistol grip from Brownells a week and a half ago for $1429. It went OOS within 2 hours after I purchased mine. Picked it up from by local FFL just last Sat (3/11/2023). Just ordered the Zhukov hand guards from GG&G. I am looking forward to taking out to the range!

Unloading can also be done by pressing on the bolt release from the inside with your right hand index finger. It’s a little less awkward to do and Langdon demonstrates this technique on his cleaning video. Got my Gen 2 from Eurooptic in black about 18 months ago for $1165. Then did all the upgrades myself… Magpul stock and GG&G adapter, Nordic Comp extension w/ upgraded follower, HS510C (direct mount to the OEM pic rail), ESSTAC shell cards, and most recently the Briley hand guard. With all that and light, sling and accessories I’m up to about $2600. Not cheap, but enjoyed the process and know my firearm very well now.

That's a great way to do it! I'm the same way, I have have to know how every part works. Best way to do that is break them down and reassemble them. Some of my cleaning process' involve full disassembly to get them in "as new" condition. Thanks for watching!

It took me 4 months to find one but I finally did. I love the gun but have to say when I spend $1,500 on a shotgun I wasn't expecting a plastic trigger group, plastic sights, plastic magazine tube cover and plastic barrel clamp. I have upgraded all parts except the trigger group through GG&G. I went with a Holosun 507Cx (green) on the picatinny rail instead of a crom because I don't prefer a cowitness. Everyone has their own flavor but I'm telling you that green donut of death reticle of circle only is outstanding for a shotgun IMO.

The Tatical and A300 are the best shotguns on the market imo. B M4s are awesome... but these cost 700-1000 less and are just as awesome. This is top tier. beautiful gun

Wow, did it come in that case? I got one coming from Langdon Tactical. It would be nice if they included one instead of a cardboard box. It was quite expensive.

my LTTgen 2 came with the case. I've seen folks comment that they come in a cardboard box now.

I went with the 1301 comp version personally as the iron sight is nice but its a shotgun and shotguns shoot birdshot and birds fly and ghost sights are not very good for shooting flying stuff so the bead sight of the comp makes the shotgun far more useful and it can take all the same mods you can add a red dot if you want too and also take it off if you want to shoot clays or birds

I just got off the phone with Langdon Tactical and the guy on the phone told me that they don't get the guns with the original stocks and forearm. Just may be a deal breaker for me I want a LTT but I also want the original Stock and forearm.

I’m on the fence right now between my 1301 and my M4 but dollar for dollar straight out of the box , the Beretta A300 ULTIMA PATROL smokes them both.

Just had mine delivered two weeks ago, with the Gen 3 they no longer have the mag extender, it's now a single tube. My LTT also was delivered with a soft carrying case(which i prefer), and they didn't include the stock butt stock or hand gaurd. For optics, I went with the Sig Sauer Romeo 4T red dot, now I'm waiting for my case of ammo to arrive so I can break her in.

I had it there but moved it back. I understand your point as the barrel can block the light on the opposite side of where your aiming. Honestly though I don’t notice a significant difference, there is a small difference for sure but not something that bothers me. Great point to being up though. I also don’t like the light to be as forward as the barrel to prevent carbon from covering the light. Thanks for the comment and great point!

Regarding the carbon on the light, if the lens of the light is even with or slightly back from the end of the barrel, then yes, it definitely gets covered in carbon. I now have my light out past the end of the barrel and it no longer gets carbon on it. The housing of the light…now that’s a different story.

How is the recoil compared to an Rem 870 or Moss 500? I've heard semi auto's have more felt recoil.

I have a Moss 500 and its very close. I think its felt more because you can run it quicker. With the 1301 you're not even through the first recoil evolution when you shoot the next round so it seems like its more. I use a push pull method when shooting my 1301 and it helps with staying on target.

The Mossberg 940 pro tactical is a fast boy too. You won’t outrun it, or the A300. MANY SAY THEY CAN BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE JM AND HE CAN OUTRUN A ROAD RUNNER,,,,WITH ANY FIREARM.

Streamlight Pro HL-X-1000 and comes with pressure pad and mounting hardware. To mount the pressure pad I run a Shaffer "Streamlight Pressure Switch Mounts - Picatinny & M-Lok" to mount the Streamlight pressure pad to the handguard M-Lok section front port side. Dude I don't see the value in buying that LTT 1301 over a stock one. First off that hand guard DON'T FIT PROPERLY. NEXT all the rest of that junk is simply bolt on stuff. The new Chisel stock is the best stock going.

Then buy a stock one. The price they charge is just the price of all the accessories plus cerakote and a trigger job and everything comes already installed. It’s no more expensive than if you were to buy everything separately and install it yourself. The hand guard does fit properly. It was originally made for an AK and uses an adapter to mount to the shotgun. It’s far more useful and practical than the handguard that comes on the stock gun. Literally everything that isn’t the barreled action on any shotgun is “bolt on stuff”. Just like that chisel stock is just “bolt on stuff”. It all comes down to personal preference.

Save up n get one 😂😂😂 me personally would buy everything and enjoy the process of building it my way/style like I do with all my rifles/guns but not everyone is hands on LTT build bad ass guns🫡
