"What looks to be... tax evasion, in the village. He's hiding it under his mattress, man." Fantastic run, fantastic commentary, 11/10

Great job on the commentary. You guys both had exceptional knowledge and were able to apply it quickly to every change that came up. Cant stress it enough, really good job. Ill remember the names for viewing other matches 👍👍👍✌️

Gutsy move heading to South shore first, obviously paid off. Do you remember your thoughts on why going that path first?

He explains it in the post-race interview. Having both a sword and bombs by the time he made it out of the initial Escape from Hyrule Castle meant he could comfortably clear the Mini-Moldorm cave, so he did that before Kakariko because if the items needed for Dark World access happened to be between those two locations, then he'd be better off completing that set in Kakariko than picking up the Kakariko item first and finishing the set elsewhere.

@@CosmicPlatonix Yeah, the main reason to not do it is in case you get boots in Kak, which speeds up south shore a bit, but since he already knew where they were, it's more likely to save time than not. Normally there's also a higher chance of finding a bottle to get sick kid on first visit, but they pretty much started with one. With Andy there's generally a good reason for his routing choices, so it's less guts and more knowledge. I mean, he's also said that a rando like this is actually less luck-based than a straight NMG run.

@55:37 I love that visual glitch on the guards. They look golden.

I really enjoyed the differences in routing. Made it a really fun watch.

Something happened to a few of the SpeedGaming VoDs the same day you had your second match with Eradin. Any possibility you captured the vod from SG?
