@@ninawildr4207 It's not. Seeing them after Alan left made that very obvious. After the show in 1993, even my younger brother, who was about 11 at the time, told me he was impressed. Our musical tastes are so different, but even he was impressed. That speaks to the power of DM's music. It breaks my heart that Alan Wilder is no longer a part of Depeche Mode. This album was where the true fans and the violator masses fans separated. DM used real instruments on this album and decided to pull away from the electronic version of themselves. I saw this concert in Hampton Roads, VA. The The opened for them. Depeche was 30 minutes late to the venue, but when they played this opening, I cried. They did drop the curtain after the first verse.

Special song by a special and unique band. People don't realize what a piece of art this is...these DM times were pretty historical. That part where Alan enters to play the melody is a classical example of how hitting the right notes in the right context is key to move your soul in the right direction. Pure magic!

Depeche Mode is such a great band. What started as an electric pop band really evolved in one of the great rock bands of the last decades. And my God yes what a singular and great voice. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. Это лучшее, что было в истории этой группы, как ни крути, ни music for the masses ни violator не дотягивают, хотя тоже чертовски хороши. Не знаю почему, но с наступлением ночи этот альбом хочется слушать чаще чем остальные..

I hope or I know, that you R talkin just in your own name cuz everyone has its own oppinion I respect. BUT. I dont miss Alan and I dont miss the SOFAD tour. Dave had fallen down from stage even everytime, Alan was like a selfish child...NO I NEVER want this tour and Alan back. Of course I respect Alan's work, he is a good musician. But to find a good musician is so much easier than to find a good composer. Martin is one of the greatest composer has ever lived so DM is and was always in a good hand..Actually my fav tour is Touring the Angel was. But I never forget when Dave bit a journalist in 1993 cuz he thought he is a vampire..fuckin drugs

Saw this tour in MD, just when I thought their world violation tour was their top best they come out with this tour and blew me away. One of the best tour I have seen to date and yes they need AW back!!
