Redlove Calypso is our new variety of our redfleshed apples. The apples are darkred colored inside, very firm and juicy. They can be picked aroud the 20th september and stored until christmas. Firmness stays during storage time. Up until now it is our most aromatic Redlove. Scab resistant and less prone to mildew.

While I do not know about redlove varieties, I think it’s usually recommended to use different varieties to pollinate, as fruit tree varieties are usually propagated from grafting cuttings as they do not tend to breed true from seeds, this makes clones so self-sterile varieties can’t pollinate a tree of the same variety for the same reason they can’t pollinate themselves.

Hi Shabuuru OS, we not working in breeding with GMO! The Redloves comes out of normal cross breeding. We don’t sell any seeds. Best regards

Hi! No, not self pollinating. What are the chill hours? Difficult to answer, we don't know it exactly. Like all the apple-varieties in the middle Europe.

ot was done trough normal crossbreeding, als all our varieties in apples and berries
