Hello. Witam. We are retired Americans. We were in Europe last year from August to March this year: 5 months helping a new school open in L'viv, six weeks in Krakow learning about WWII, and a month in Tallinn. We visited Gdansk and Warsaw. Our friends have relatives in Poland, as well. We loved our time in Poland. Great trains, easy access to Europe, and very friendly people in each of the cities we were in. Lublin looks amazing! I wonder if we could move there as retired folks on a pension? Thank you! Dziękuję! Dean & Cindy

Lublin is much cheaper than Krakow because Krakow is a tourist city full of British tourists! Krakow is brilliant for a holiday but maybe check out Rzeszow, Zakopane, Gliwice, Lodz etc on my channel Dean. Also watch my Guided Tours from Bulgaria because Bulgaria is a much cheaper option for retirement than Poland and the seaside resorts are impressive

Only about 30% of the population goes to church, mostly the older generation, i know foreigners tend to think Poles are super religious but nowdays it's more of a myth. People are just enjoying a warm day off, this April has been really hot and the nature has woken up a bit early :) BTW - You can also fly to Lublin from Warsaw if you want, it's the shortest flight in Poland.

I disagree it depends of district. Czechów is more atheist but Czuby or Węglin are more religious. Generally 50% go to church every Sunday on average. But it’s not stricted religious country, it false impression of tourist from post-Christian country. If French or Italian sees it, that person would say that it is visible people are more religious but strict… Another fact, Lublin became recently 7th biggest city as Bydgoszcz looses population faster.

Zdziwił byś się w Lublinie ludzie chodzą do kościoła w niedzielę kościoły są pełne i to nie tylko starszych ludzi są też młodzi z dziećmi to że spacerują w pogodny dzień nie wyklucza chodzenia do kościoła 😊

Okay, and how much people earn in Lublin? Barely enough to live. 95% live in small apartments in depressed neighborhoods. Man..please...

I know a girl who lives in Lublin and she works in Finance for a Corporation. I’m not sure what they earn in Lublin.. probably similar to most other Polish Cities? There are good and bad areas of most cities.. so you think that the people in Lublin live in poverty and in bad conditions then ?
