I know exactly what type of freestyler you are, in meetings you are always there, practicing in circles, striving to do better and full of energy. When someone is like that and his level is quite high already, the result can only be one! Avec tout le respect et tout le fanboyisme que j'ai pour Luca, je considère que ya aucune raison d'appeler un tel trick qui est clairement le szlatw ng le Luca rev, est ce que Pawel Skora a appelé le Htlatw qu'il à inventé Skora motion ou jsp quoi ? Nan il s'est contenté de prendre la base du trick qui existe déjà le Htatw et de rajouter la partie double révolution du Latw. la legende même du lower peu importe si on l'apprecie ou pas (dans mon cas je suis pas fan) c'est et ça restera skora, il a casiment tout inventé et s'est contenté de suivre une logique d'appelation des gestes pour le Htlatw et bien d'autre geste sans designer un tel trick en l'appelant par son nom. C'est le Szlatw ng, j'apprends rien a ce niveau la et pour moi ça ne changeras pas :)

I wasn't following freestyle for the past 3 years and I always wanted to see a traditional 3 rev but with the extra revolution. I've been catching up with all that has happened in the past 3 years for the past 2 weeks. I hadn't seen this video and I honestly expected it to just be you doing a huge amount of 3revs, which was already crazy enough but when you celebrated at the end I got worried because I expected some insane new trick. NG stands for "No Gravity." It is referring to when people do tricks on the moon and there is no gravity for the ball to fall, so they can go around the ball an infinite amount of times. Just kidding, it means when you do a 2 jump trick in 1 jump. So SZATW for example can be done in two ways, one jump or two jumps. Doing it in 1 jump is a lot easier, and it is called no gravity. This is SZLATW NG, meaning 1 jump. SZLATW in 2 jumps is probably impossible. A lot of people consider NG 4 revs not a "true" 4 rev, which is why a lot of people don't consider k3atw a proper 4 rev. No matter where you stand on this argument, the fact still lies that NG is easier than 2 jump. Regardless, NG or not any 4 times around the ball is fucking hard.

The single jump vs multiple jumps distinction is a bit of a distraction though. The more important question is whether the revolutions are consecutive or not. The problem with the K3ATW is that the two middle revolutions are not consecutive, but happen at the same time, which results in neither of them being a true complete revolution. Instead, each foot goes around half of the ball at best. Now you can definitely do it cleanly in principle. And then you actually have two different 4-rev tricks -- LATW NT HTW NT HTW and ATW NT HTW NT ALATW. It's just that neither of them has ever been actually done properly. Here the SzLATW is NG in the sense that it is one jump, but the revolutions are still consecutive and distinct, i.e. you do have four of them, and they are proper. So it counts for real, while the K3ATW does not. This is also the reason why an outside to inside switch was always the most likely to be the first proper 4-rev, whether an LATW-ALATW NT or an HPATW(out), as it is much easier to do it cleanly, while the inside to inside switch that you have in the K3ATW is much more difficult to pull off properly (same reason people usually learn the HTATW as their first 2-rev and the HMATW at some later time).

It's splitting hairs at this point -- I am looking at your video at watch?v=jUPBX5kmMb4, and we can debate whether it is consecutive or not, it looks like you intend it to be consecutive, but it still comes out quite at the same time; in any case, the bigger problem is that your weak foot is still not really around the ball. K3vin definitely does them at the same time though (pause at 0:10 in watch?v=ezrjrQpkBvo and you will see a perfect illustration of what I am talking about -- his heels are almost touching in the air). "Not really, doing the 3rd rev with your weak foot is easier said than done" I never said it was easy. just that they are different tricks in principle. Conventional (i.e. no sagamis and heel tricks) freestyle tricks are a fairly simple matter of combinatorics -- strong foot/weak foot, inside/outside revolution, Magellan stomp between revolutions on the same leg or no such stomp. So you have 6 different 2-rev tricks + 4 different Magellans and then you have 18 different 3-rev tricks (of which two still haven't been landed, BTW) + 24 3-rev Magellan tricks. For 4-rev tricks the combinatorial space becomes even larger (and most of it will probably never be filled with landed tricks) because of examples of distinctions like the one I listed.
