Watched O’Sullivan since he started off and seen him play worse than this, particularly when he lost his rag playing against the likes of hendry when he was younger. He played a solid 10 frames, Brecel started playing some glorious snooker, Ronnie got rattled, Brecel clearly noticed this and that made him more relaxed and by the end the pockets were looking like buckets for him. It’s happened to all of us at the snooker hall. Ronnie has been top of his game for so long and he’s in such a good place mentally now that he wasn’t getting openly pissed off, just a bit annoyed and bemused by how much his eye was off. Plus, he’s not getting any younger, let’s be honest. Just my opinion mind, I haven’t spoken to him about it. Plus, O’Sullivan is NOT involved in match-fixing; he would have lost a LOT more games by now! You don’t ‘fix’ matches by winning them all for years… 🧐

"It’s happened to all of us" Some days it's just the way it is. AND the harder one try's the further away the shots head and the smaller the pockets seem. The key is to not get frustrated. Easy to say but almost impossible to pull off once it settles in.

For those saying luca did it, given the sitters ronnie missed while in a convincing lead, low pressure, missed safeties etc - it is more a case of ronnie losing. This was too suspicious. My theory: snooker is starving for a new big name. Ronnie is just helping build that up, possibly for a fat cheque. I say why not :) P.S. last year’s final was tragic. The same names playing over and over again. This year so happy we had a new winner.

I watched this session live and at the time a red flag came up for me as in ‘fixed’ . Ronnie missed some balls that I would pot myself ,, but even some safety shots he was playing looked like he wanted to lose. His body language spoke : ‘I couldn’t be arsed’
