The head seizure thing isnt really true though. I know some used to be taught to controll the head but I also know this has kind of changed in more "modern" time. Nowadays I am pretty sure you are taught to try and cushion the head with something but don't actually try and hold it. Can't remember why just that these is something I was told by a emt

@@pepparmostheelder as nurse we are taught to clear the area around the patient/person having a seizure so they dont injure or break something during the seizure. Getting a pillow under the head is preferred to help protect it but sometimes cant be done if they are violently seizing. Most times you have to watch them seize then tend to after. I believe old times had you turn the person on their side in case they vomit during the seizure and so they dont bite off their tongue.
