At 3:15 , there was a lyrium crystal at the front of the room. The angle and height they put it at makes it almost impossible to see with no 360 view. I’m on PC and controller and could barely maneuver to shoot at it. 😂

I love how much he loves coffee and is so picky with it. He or Harding are the next romance for sure I went with Neve and it’s been really cool seeing her open up

@ man that makes me really want to start a new run for him. Never is also a slow burn I’m near the end of what I think is actually two and just got the prompt to be “exclusive with her. I might have to push Harding to the third playthrough but her and Taash are really fun to see flirt so maybe I never do a Harding or taash romance. The companions are all just so good!

I did my first play through as a mage and I super agree that it’s very heavy. I found that the orb and dagger was much more manageable than the staff. It just seems so hard to play a ranged style when you get swarmed constantly.

I'm playing Mage but I immediately re-did my button layout which helped tremendously (dodge on one of my side buttons on my mouse, jump on spacebar, sprint on shift) and it feels pretty smooth now! (I'm at around Level 35 currently)

I do think rogue feels the best out of all the classes but that might just be because i like fast attacks and they're the fastest lol. Mage was far too slow for me unless i was using the orb and dagger but this game actually had me excited to use my bow as a rogue

I picked rogue and I do like it, though I am so bad at the defend timing that often all I can do when enemies won't leave me alone is to keep dodging and wait for my companions' cooldowns to end. I'm spec-ing into the archer-focused specialization instead of melee partially for this reason (and also my rook is a veil jumper, so it fits well lore-wise), and it's pretty fun once your bow attacks get some good passives. My headshots deal massive damage now, it's so satisfying.

I’ve switched to primary orb and dagger and only pull out the staff for super ranger stuff. Feel’s much better so far. My first playthrough was rogue and I think that’s going to be my favorite.

On the topic of playing mage, I played mage my first run and went the shadow dragon route with spells and it was legit so fun. Im playing a rouge now and i MISS playing a mage.

So I've gone hard into spellblade, and I'm having a BLAST. I almost exclusively use orb/dagger and I've specked into electric and fire abilities in the burst skills section. I've specialized in medium armor to make me a bit tankier and I have passives that give me health for doing takedowns and I think arcane bomb too? The first combo I made myself get good at was just orb, orb, orb, dagger over and over lol to detonate arcane bombs and I've got an orb that does fire and electric damage. I compensate for other vulnerabilities with runes and I've been having a BLAST with thus build dodging and weaving around lol

i had trouble with mage until i figured out the lock-on. not sure what the key is on pc though, but there is one!

Let me tell you how my first play thru was my rogue which is my class and then I was like let’s do mage. Upped the difficulty to the adventurer and literally after a few missions said NOPE then went and imported that character as a rogue again!!

Fighting in the tight spaces in the Ossuary as a mage is the most frustrating thing even with the orb and dagger. I hate it every time. Lucanis is lucky is he's cute, and I need him to stab a god.

Not me trying to yell at past you as if you could hear me about looking up for the unprotected crystal to break so you could get all the loot from that room! I also found rogue more fluid than mage. But rogue is usually my favorite anyway so I thought it was just me. But I do find mage does get better later. Or maybe I just got used to it? You running around half dead panicking brought me back to the first time I fought the arishok in 2. 😂

Honestly I don’t know how any of y'all play this with keyboard and mouse!! It doesn't feel intuitive at all! I feel like you don’t get the fluidity or range of motion and vision to do fast-paced combat like this. So that you manage at all is a constant wonder to me 😂 I have had about the same luck with all 3 classes, but I definitely find myself using the quicker, lighter weapon versions than the ones that take longer to wind up with slower hits.

If you like the rogue combat. Try the mages orb and dagger. You might like it better than the staff.
