Wasnt it mentioned in the ep when they found out hr is a Sheppert? One of Dereks sisters except of Emilia he had 2 or 3 other sisters if i remember.

Lucas mentioned only that originally he's from Connecticut [S19E03] therefore we can only guess that it has to be Nancy since it was mentioned in the series many years ago that is where she lives with her husband John and at least two children. But again - we never got official confirmation as to exactly which of the Shepherd sisters his mother is.

I'm sure that if Lucas was going to leave they would have announced it along with the departure of Yasuda and Levi. I think the most likely scenario is Levi or Yasuda will take the offer and go to Chicago instead of Lucas. at least I hope so since Simone and Lucas is literally the only reason why I came back to this [shit] show lol.

He mentions his dad was from Barbados in the previous episode one of the shepherd's sister said her husband is traveling as a diplomat so I'm guessing it's that sister
