When Lucas set her free I was like.... This is pure love. I knew she was just trying to relive Jack's memory through Nathan and I'm glad she realised this. When people mention they see her with Nathan, I usually wonder how and why? He came to Hope Valley with an intention to protect Jack's family.... To me him wanting to be with Elizabeth was just out of duty and guilt. It doesn't matter how many times he said I love you to Elizabeth, he just felt responsible. Elizabeth and Nathan were not in love with each other no Matter how heated their scenes appeared... It just makes sense that she is with Lucas. He is loving, sacrificial, a gentleman, serves her, cares about her happiness before anything else despite being in love with her and knowing she was trying to sort out her feelings for Nathan, he was patient. If that's not love, I don't know what is

He is so genuine, not pressuring her, by letting her choose for herself. He knows what he feels. He knows he loves her. He shows it in every way possible without making her feel forced or pressured. Sometimes, when you love someone, you have to let them go, and figure things out for a while. That takes a lot of courage, and is not done selfishly. It hurts, but when you are in love you have their best interests at heart. You selflessly put your self out there. Vulnerably. Lucas is the best choice for Elizabeth.

Actually, I wouldn't call it perfect but complete. The Bible talks about this kind of love. 1 Cor 13:4-8. This kind of love it is only possible if you know God. No human being has this type of love naturally. It is something it is given. Jesus, ultimately showed this kind of love - if you study his life, you will see it clear as day. The writers are basing Lucas's character out of this verse. If you read it, you will see. ;)

Love this video 🥰. Just by the way they look at each other, you can see how far the relationship between Lucas & Elizabeth has grown. Because Nathan doesn't discuss much & seems to keep secrets, I think Elizabeth still questions if he's telling her everything & being truthful. When Lucas first came to Hope Valley, several people didn't like or trust him.. especially Bill & Rosemary, but now they like & respect him because he shows his true character. They like the way he treats Elizabeth & little Jack, heck, he's nice to the whole town, even Nathan. He loaned Nathan $1,000 without being nosey as to why the money was needed. Even asked him if that was enough. But Nathan never says anything nice to Lucas. Will be heartbreaking & hard to understand, if in the end, Elizabeth backs away from Lucas & picks Nathan.

Thank you for putting this beautiful montage together with such fitting and meaningful songs. I was doubting how the endgame would be from Season 8, and watching this 2-3 times a day since March and it has given me hope. It captured their relationship blooming from every scene they had in S6 & S7 and never saw anything that resembled this type of interaction with Nathan. With all what they have shared, it would be so out of character for Elizabeth not to choose Lucas. My favorite scene was the Dangerous Liaison scene. It knocked Elizabeth and me off our knees and I screamed as I've never heard such beautiful words. (I saw the movie ages ago but don't recall these words, and never read the book). Looking forward to your next creation with S8.

Agree 100%! I did love Nathan, but he seemed to expect the love to grow instead of work on it. Plus he seemed to use his niece as a level up. But Lucas was organic, aware of Elizabeth needs and numerous times showed up for her , showed his weakness and strength. So happy Elizabeth chose him.

I saw this a little before they introduced the 2 new male leads, and cos of this edit I immediately liked Lucas! Still have to see the rest of the episodes but this video is lovely 🌸💕

I watch this video over and over because it is so beautifully done!!! It makes me realize that Lucas HAD to be the ONE!!! When you see the scenes between L and E cropped together like this, you can REALLY see the chemistry, the sparks, and the magic that just permeates between them!!! If the writers continue to give them such wonderful storylines, this could be one of the great on screen romances in the history of television series. I hope they DON'T drag out the unfolding love story with the misconceived notion that it creates suspense. All that does is BORE the audience. If they were smart, they would do s spinoff MOVIE devoted mostly to L and E. They could go in depth about adventures that they can't do in a one hour show. For instance, L, E, and Little Jack could take a trip back East so L could meet E's family and E's family could spend some quality time with L J. They could also go on a book tour to promote E's book. The possibilities are endless! It could be a MUCH better movie than most of the new movies Hallmark has put out recently!!! I hope the powers that be at Hallmark subscribe to your podcast and consider this suggestion!!! I can't wait for S9!!! Until then, I will just continue to watch your video. It is really well done!!! Thanks!!!
