Thanks for doing this. It was in fact this tune that erased the last doubts about who she would kiss and carried me through the heated end of S8. It was used in the ‚food for the soul‘ conversation and when E took off her ring in the preview for the finale, the E& Jack theme switched to this tune. I was so happy….

Yes!!! I noticed parts of this melody were used in several of the scenes you mentioned too! I especially like the scene when Elizabeth removed her rings. Some of the LucaBeth theme played as she was moving her hand across her manuscript. She eyed her ring and the 🎺 came in when she thought of Jack. After she removed her rings, the trumpets disappeared and it switched to the piano theme with Lucas 😭 Genius! John Sereda did a wonderful job with the entire score. I really hope he releases another album with more music from the show 🤞

I agree. I don’t usually notice the music the 1st or 2nd time I watch a scene. However in the scene where Elizabeth removed her rings, I noticed the music right away - probably because there was no dialogue. I was very moved by the change in the music from Jack to Lucas after she removed the rings.

Yes, this is from a Hallmark TV series called “When Calls the Heart”. 😊 They are currently filming their 9th season which will likely air in early 2022. Seasons 1-6 are still available on Netflix in many parts of the world, but the show was unfortunately taken down from Netflix US at the end of January 2021. You can still find Seasons 1-8 on Amazon, iTunes, VUDU, Google Play, Microsoft Store, and on DVD from Edify Films.
